  1. I said I'll never bag my Lupo. Oh well... DSC_3007 by Leevi Myyry, on Flickr DSC_3008 by Leevi Myyry, on Flickr
  2. I found 3 terminals behind the fuse box, but I think all of those get live feed all the time (couldn't measure bc no battery in the car right now). I'll just tap the trigger wire into the head unit and go with that. Not exactly how I like it but will do...
  3. Yeah could do that. But I don't want that the compressor runs without the engine running and possibly draining my battery. There will be a kill switch for compressor too, but just in case...
  4. I need to run a wire for my compressor relay. Is there a terminal somewhere in Lupo gti to get switched live from? Ive searched around the fuse box area but couldn't find it.
  5. Lupo stays in the carage again waiting for summer to come. I was forced to drive it few days in snow... Not fun at all with my ground clearance. Exhaust took quite a beating... Im lucky Ive got a 4wd for winter. I was looking through my photos to get some motivation back. Thought I might as well share this one. Night Rider by L Myyry, on Flickr Reminds me of the photo in my first post.
  6. Awesome! Do you happen to have any dyno sheets? I'd like to see those and do some comparison.
  7. I wonder how much power (torque) can stock bearings, rods, clutch and gearbox take.
  8. Hmm... 20mm front and 25mm rear spacers maybe? Organized the wheel corner in my carage. I'm running out of space here! Last snapped a photo of Bouncer's beadind on the roof. Fogive these crappy Nokia pictures.
  9. What size of tires are you running with your Megas? I'm balancing between 165/45 and 165/50 or maybe 185/45 but can't really decide.
  10. Did you do that upholstery yourself? Looks sweet, I need that to be done too.
  11. Looking good! And that one on the background with RSs.
  12. Metal strap in where? Link: http://forums.clublupo.co.uk/index.php?/topic/53864-lupo-gti-oeem/page-20 My exhaust is hanging pretty low too, but I just realised it can't be raised up as much as i'd like to. The last silencer hits the floor when I try to push it up.
  13. Everybody else is doing it, so I might as well. Yes, PLCC-2. Can't remember exact specs but that's the type and this is the other type I used: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/KINGBRIGHT-KA-4040SURSK-LED-SMD-SIDE-VIEW-RED-/351133541523?pt=UK_BOI_Electrical_Components_Supplies_ET&hash=item51c130a493
  14. Wheels arrived. Just need to find one center cap and tires and maybe some painting...
  15. That's what I'm thinking too. But some things I just have to let go. Just waiting for the right offer. Wheels are just some narrow one piece alloys, 7x15 I think. There's one Gti here in Club Lupo running those wheels already, but I think those are pretty rare. I'm sick and tired of rubbing my tires and more inset means more lows. I'll be scraping my skid plate in any time now.
  16. Something new here. Found a drivers side stubby mirror from ebay. It was black so I wrapped passengers one in matt black. Also wrapped my roof and put some Lamin-x on headlights. Roof can stay like that but headlight tints will go after a while. I just don't get used to them. Then there was a mini detailing session while I'm waiting for my new wheels to arrive from Germany. Finished with Bouncer's Fortify on paint, Nanolex Urban on all glass surfaces, exhaust tips with Autosol (inside and outside), AG tyre Dressing on rubber and Aerospace 303 protectant on plastic bits. 17. You need to tuck those 17s in more. Looking good though. How stiff springs are you running? I have something like 5kg/mm and they are way too soft.
  18. Thanks for the kind words. Thank you! I'm from Eastern Finland, small town called Joensuu. Well prices here and what you have there aren't comparable. But now I can find 2 Gti's for sale. One is for 6,5k and the other is for 8k...
