  1. Don't buy an Audi. Everyone will just think you're a ****. Maybe buy a classic as an investment? Then when you save more money towards a house your classic may be worth more money?
  2. You know you drive an Arosa when you have to explain why you didn't buy a Lupo
  3. Just to clarify the 'little teen' was 18+. Since we've all seen porn in our time I thought it made things understandable. So is everyone coming again this year? I'll try and get my mate to bring that Mk2 Golf S2 again. Never seen a car get so much attention :|
  4. Well I had an airbed so ner ner ner if the weather is the same as last year it will be mega. Hope there's a good cl turnout
  5. best be camping emz! It was class last year. I'm pre booking my tickets and 1/4 mike runs this year mind! Spent £150+ on just tickets last year. :|
  6. I missed it last year but I'll be going this year. Probs be camping too, feel free to join us
  7. I'm there all the time but yes the facilities are a bit erm... dodgy. Good crack camping when there's a band on and that. Since you're local you're tasked with bringing bacon butties in the morning for us
  8. You got loadsa meets near you if you're willing to travel there's a VAGcars meet next wednesday about an hour north from you. There's often the dub pres meets in Leeds which aren't far I guess. I often frequent York drag strip if racing is your thing
  9. I won't be organising a club stand but I will be there and camping all weekend. If it's anything like last year it will be good. Most of the guys last year wanted to go in show and shine so unless there's a huge turnout it might just be best camping together for the banter.
  10. What do you consider East Yorkshire? Some people near where I live consider it 'East Yorkshire' VW Festival is good but I'm working this year I think, so dunno if i can come Pity cos last year was class, I just remember being totally arseholed and Bacon pouring vodka over a dog that kept yapping at him. Big Fat Tour is mint, I genuinely get very annoyed if people beat me between Scarborough and Thirsk Edition 38 is the place to be though!! That show is just mental, I love every minute of it lol.
  11. Every car released in 1988 apparently. http://www.motorshout.com/browse/date/1988/
  12. 38 for me, which is damn surprising. Burglary 0 Anti-social behaviour 24 Robbery 0 Vehicle crime 2 Violent crime 4 Other crime 8 Anti social behaviour will just be the kids in the square. Not a lot to worry about
  13. I'm booked in to get something done on my left arm on February 17th. Can't wait.
  14. If the chocolate was deep fried this would be a STEREOTYPE WIN! I think I'll have some more scribbles on me by the end of Feb.
  15. falkens stretch quite well. that's what tyre fitter friend recommends when people run big stretch. but going back to the point, budget tyres are never ever good. for the slight price increase for the added performance and safety of good quality performance tyres, it should be illegal to buy this budget crap. nankangs good tyres? wtf as for the toyo t1 crack, i had some on the g40, they were poop. had some on the VR, they were fantastic. I had so much more confidence in the car on Toyo T1R's, and set all my PB 1/4 mile and 0-60 times on Toyos... running about 15psi in them mind...
  16. great isn't it. and it's always good to have an open mind with regards to music. just imagine driving home, on a sunny day, to this - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9WbKBKima4Q this always seems to come as i pass leeds/wakey on the m1 heading home. (fantastic band, highly recommend them!) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z0YDaoAlIXU

    Blah.

is he old enough for a tattoo? i'm a sucker for a girl with snakebites though. you can just about see what i mean here.
  18. I'm very near you, I just don't have a Lupo anymore. p.s www.vagcars.co.uk (your local VW forum)
  19. It's quite tricky at first, I'll need to devote a good day or two to the challenge. You have to be so delicate with the sticks on the DS3 controller. It brings me back to my days racing 12th circuit R/C cars, very high grip, high downforce and you had to be super smooth with the steering and throttle, the handling between the two is very similar.
  20. Anyone done it yet? Mighty tricky with a controller!
  21. I think me and Dave could rival those, likewise, most really aren't to go on a public forum. Naked field at Edition 38 2009 was quite funny too, the megaphone last year was quite a highlight.
  22. Thread over. I despise sat navs. Plan your route before you do it. Learn what signposts mean.
