So I thought I would try them on, the front tyres scrub on the suspension but that isn't really surprising considering the ballooning. I can't seem to find one of the center caps (momo screw in nut and the circle metal bit), I have had a look on the net but can't seem to find any. Does anyone know where I can get these from? Also does anyone have any idea what they are worth?
I've just looked in the garage and found a set of my uncles Momo wheels but I can't really find any information on them. They're 15 7J ET30 4x100 (or so it seemed, didn't have a tape measure on me at the time) they have MOMO TYP 07800 cast on them but this doesn't bring anything up in Google? They look like this (all be it a bit dirtier): Does anyone have an idea what these are worth or a picture of them on a lupo? Also, any idea if these would have any issues going onto a lupo (non-gti)?
Hi All, My Lupo has been sat on our drive for the past 6 months but my sister has decided that it would be a great car for her to learn to drive in (up goes the suspension ). So last week I went to charge the battery but saw that the expansion tank had no water in it, I just assumed it was because it had been sitting there for so long through the ice / heat. After filling it up, charging the battery and taking it for a test drive I found out that it had a leak which I assumed was coming from a dodgy gasket at the back of the thermostat housing but after changing that I noticed that the plastic pipe running down the back of the engine from the thermostat housing was cracked. I'm not too sure how to take it off which is where I need your help. Please let me know if you know how you are meant to remove this? (Crack by the thermostat housing: http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g173/danmeb/Gaskets/2012-07-28202157.jpg Where the pipe is connected: http://i56.photobuck...07-28202206.jpg) Thanks in advance
I am a **** I'm not really into owning a classic, too much hassle especially as a daily drive Running costs are also to be considered, mk5 Golf GTI is a very good choice!
I've recently come into some money and was going to invest it for a deposit on a flat, however it seems that it is really hard to get a mortgage these days So I am contemplating whether to buy a car but it needs to meet a few criteria's: First: I'm 20 so nothing that is going to be mad on the insurance. Second: I would like a car that will hold its value and isn't going to make a huge loss a year down the line Third: I'm looking towards perhaps an Audi as I'm looking for something fairly sporty yet corporate So yeah... What would you buy that would fit them criteria's?
Doesn't the Google Adsense bar at the top of the forum generate money? Surely who ever doesn't want to pay for premium membership could at very least click that banner every once in a while?
