Hi all, I know the polo 6n2 gti and the lupo use the same engine code but are the throttle bodies the same?

I'll have a GTI tailgate and spoiler for sale in a week or 2. Complete apart from the interior trim, In black (LO41), they both need to go together tho.
-
Come with an aluminium tailgate or was it just the doors and bonnet?

Hi The 6 disc just runs through the head unit rather than power the speakers, my GTI originally had a single disc in it and i just junked it along with the vw HU and fitted an after market one with a sub-out. Do it it sounds much better! IIRC the rear speakers are the same size as the fronts so 6" will see you right. It would be a peice of cake to run new cables and whatnot as yours may not have them already. Hope this helps Gav

AF Tripple.... Its a fantastic all in one and so easy to use. Top it with AF Tough Coat and the shine is awesome! My Loop looks lush when I use it -
I was having trouble with IE, then I downloaded Firefox and haven't had a problem since

When I had mine I just looped the straps through whatever I could. I also used a couple of cable ties through the sound proofing clip holes to help tighten it

Hi all, I have my MOT on saturday. Does the GTI have a brake bias valve on the rear beam? The reason I ask is when I had my mk2 golf, I lowered it but when it came to MOT time they said it failed on the brakes because the bias valve hadn't been adjusted to suit. If the GTI has this valve, where is it and how do I adjust? Cheers

Get a de-nibber to start with then polish it up -
I had a set on my GTI, 2 et23 (rear) and 2 et53 (front) with 165-50-15 potenzas on. TBH I didn't like them, on the GTI they looked a little lost in the arches and to make them look good I'd have had to lower it so much it would've been undriveable. The rears poked a little but the front were tucked nice, I had 25mm adaptors on the front and 15's on the rear I sold my set on, with adaptors and new tyres for £400.

You'll be very lucky if you can stick it down with just superglue mate. There was nowhere close enough to each other to glue when i did mine which is why i packed her up with sticky pads.

All done by Loopo Cheers Buddy

To remove it you have to break the plastic welds that hold it in. I used a long flat blade screwdriver wrapped in a rag. You need to follow the t piece along the underside to stop the dash itself getting marked. When I came to re-fit I cut all the old broken welds and used sellotape outdoor sticky fixers
