Bless her - can empathise with the guilt of cage life!! Poor old Fletch broke his leg the day we got him (he was a rescue pup and had a calcium deficiency) all he did was jump onto the bed! Vet's x-rayed him and as it wasn't displaced, ordered cage rest for 6 weeks otherwise it would be an op. If that wasn't bad enough, pet insurance doesn't cover for the first 28 days...cue £500 bill in his first week with us!! Little monkey's worth it though

Kieron and I are getting married in December and are in the process of making final arrangements. We've decided that we'd like to give the DJ a list of some of the songs we'd like playing at the Reception, but are drawing a bit of a blank with suggestions! Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to come up with a list of songs (new and classics) for us to compile. Thanks muchly

Fletch (the dog) is treated virtually no differently from Joe (the baby), so I'd have no problem leaving him in kennels or with my parents for holidays or long weekends, but we see him as part of the family and don't want to be away from him for long anyway!! As long as you're organised, having dogs and kids doesn't ruin your social life - we've not stopped doing anything we did before we had Fletch and Joe - they just tag along with us now!! Oh, Linz and Fran - care to swap your pooches for a baby for a few days?!

Not us - our loop' in the bodyshop.....

Thanks guys - must be getting old cause my birthday felt no different from any other day. Still, got a long way to catch some of you up

Don't see the point of being deliberately nasty to someone you liked enough to go out with in the first place - unless they've cheated of course. I'm not 'friends' with any of my exes, but I exchange pleasantries with them all if I see them out and about.

Agree with Nicki - had a shitty experience myself years ago, and have been a nice breaker-upper since then Like your style though Mitch - bet he realises now what goes around comes around!!

Love your sig Putney

I'm on my way to puppy-knap her....

I nearly confirmed him cause I went to school with a Barry Last. Who is please??

We also have the Loola - fits fine in the boot, but didn't when I attached the Windoo pram body. The Bebe Confort Creatis car seat attaches to the Loola chassis to form a travel system - I know most people go for travel systems these days, but I wanted Joe lying truly flat when he was first born, which is why I got the pram top too, and this was the only thing I struggled with - ended up having it on the passenger seat, which is fine when you're on your own, but not much fun with passengers! We did have a BMW touring as well which is what I used most of the time when I was on maternity leave, but managed fine in the Lupo - it was more that Kieron wanted to bez about in it to work and back!! To be honest, all of the paraphernalia that babies need would fill up most 'normal' sized cars - my dad has an E-Class and struggles to get Joe's buggy, toys, changing bag etc in the boot. The most I've managed ever managed to fit in the Loop is: 2 car seats (one containing Joe, the other empty), his pram, a travel cot, changing bag and a weeks worth of food from Asda!! It's all about the way you pack it!

I agree, not "look at me, look at me - everyone beg me to stay"!!! Or maybe I'm just being a bitch... style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":coffee:" border="0" alt="coffee.gif" />

Agreed - what's pi**ed me off is the negative attitude about our decision to have the remap and the saracstic comments directed towards Kieron - all he posted up was a review of it in order to be helpful to other owners who might be interested in doing the same to theirs!! I'm hoping that this thread has run it's course and can be left alone now.

If we're being pedantic about correct phrases - isn't it Mr JOE Average??!! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> Can we not just leave it that you wouldn't choose to remap your GTI and yet we have ours?! After all, as is said on CL soooo many times, everyone is entitled to their own opinion - freedom of choice is a wonderful thing. Please be quiet now - this is getting boring. Amen.

Ask Kieron - he's a planner...

What are these 'magic' mods for £300 that make 8bhp or more and extra torque whilst maximising efficiency throughout the rev range and improve driveability and throttle response? I'd be interested to know as (from using the search facility) nobody on here has managed to tap into this route of modding. The modifications that you talk about seem to require a lot of labour and expertise which combined with parts I'm sure would cost more than £300. You clearly know your way round and engine and are capable of doing the work yourself, which is going to be very cheap for YOU, but for the average person on here, paying someone to do it is a different kettle of fish.
-
We didn't know they were doing it for nothing - Kieron went to pick it up with every intention to pay for the work done - it was just a fab surprise when they said no charge style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

It's mapped to run on V-max but all gtis are mapped to run 98 octane as standard anyway

I've had both a 106gti and a Lupo GTi and I can't believe you're friend's car is that much faster than yours - maybe it's just that he drives like a dick and pushes his car to the limit all the time - not big and certainly not clever. Tell him that only chavvy little boy racers drive 106gti's (I can say that cause I had one!!) and those that drive like pillocks do so because they're lacking in other departments!! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

Good God - that's horrific. Hello Vanessa style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="wave.gif" />
