I think thats too thick. if you are using this oil i suggest you let the car run for a few mins before driving to let the oil warm up and get thinner. Or just drain it out. hope this helps.

Right, bad news the engine has now had it so i', not going to bother doing a headgasket. I know a few people has polo gti engines in there lupos. i have a stock 1.4 sport on a 51 plate. does anyknoe know if a polo gti engine will it? obviously i will need all the auxiliary's like engine loom and drive shafts. a few questions i will a polo gti engine fit with the same engine mounts? will the polo wiring loom work in the lupo? what drive shaft do i use? Thanks everyone for the help!

Fair Point. The thermostat is located on the right side of the engine located above the gearbox anyway. I always changed my coolent when i do a job like this it saves hassle along the line and its a piece of mind knowing you changed it. good luck.

I had bent sills on my old SDI. i used a heat gun and a adjustable spanner and it worked a treat, you can bent them to the exact share rather than beating it with a hammer

Have you got just the rear seat belts? is it just the front door cards you have?

Fair play with the center exhaust, i would of personally just bought a sport or gti but well done I love the door cards

If you play music real loud they break and crackle. I just got new ones from a scrap yard and they work fine. Hope this helps.

i dont think ive ever heard of a off the shelf skid plate for a lupo. Its prob best to go to a mechanic and get one made from steel!

Yeah ive done engine conversions but ive never changed a headgasket. they said it needs to be sent away for a crack test too and they always skim it "just in case". yeah i know about the old cambelt, its real shiny now too so its nearly had it anyway, its does 31k since the last belt change so the receipts say.

No dont think so, it does work its slightly quicker than my friends sport now so it must work i presume!
