  1. I think the only 14's that have ever worked with 280's are Compomotive TH's. But from my understanding they had to be spaced a little.
  2. I said to him, Hey, i just met you, and this is crazy, but heres my number, so call me maybe. ...He never rang back,
  3. I made the first move, but he was keener than anyone else i meet up with in service stations at midnight, when i'm 250 miles from home. It was comforting and somewhat beautiful.
  4. I'm not trying to be smart at all. It's just a pathetic thread to post. As it happens, when i collected some parts off Rich, we did in fact 'touch'.
  5. No need to get abusive. Just cus you know i'm right.
  6. I dare say there are owners of all sorts of cars on here, but they don't go advertising their incomplete, car specific parts...?
  7. Just incase anyone's interested... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vauxhall-Nova-Corsa-Gaz-adjustable-rear-coilovers-with-springs-/200821440318?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2ec1e3ff3e They won't fit a Lupo, but thought i'd post them on a 'Lupo only' forum anyway.
  8. Why would anyone be interested? Especially when you consider they won't fit a Lupo...
  9. Do a proper 5 stud conversion. The rear stub axles off a mk4 will bolt on, completer with disc and mk3 front hubs/struts will fit.
  10. If a GTI is anything to go by, it's about 2" O.D.
  11. You really can't expect a modded LPG car to fetch more than a normal car. As has been said, people who want a Lupo Sport don't really want economy, and people who want economy would rather a bog standard, no frills diesel, so you've priced it out of the market completely at that price, not to mention most modification actually devalue a car. For £3500 you could get a real good, standard example of a GTI, which is a few years newer than your sport, faster, better spec, looks smarter etc. I'm not saying that half price fuel isn't a MAJOR plus point, but there are certainly a LOT of downsides to running LPG, such as loss in performance/MPG, availability, reliability, burning excess oil, having a huge tank in the boot, poor running when cold, declaring to insurance etc...
  12. Okay, well let me know. We're only talking £15 posted if you want it.
  13. I've got the injector loom if you wanted to try that? It's off a GTI, so you'll have to check it out, but i'm 80% sure it'll fit.
  14. I've played guitar for around 12 years. Started off playing classical/spanish, but now play all sorts, but of coarse with the odd harmonic minor thrown in. I have the following gear, pics to follow... 1988 American standard Strat in Silver with scalloped maple neck, with Seymour duncan hotrail bridge pickup. 2001 Mexican Strat in vintage cream, with SRV style chinese pickups, which sounds brilliant through any fender amp! Blackstar All valve head Marshall 1936 vintage 2x12 cab Ibanez tube screamer ts-808 overdrive pdeal Holy Grail reverb pedal
  15. It's there for a reason. If you take it off your car won't go round corners, you'll fail MOT's for sure and you'd be a bit of a mug to be fair. I can't actually believe the incompetence of people who call themselves car enthusiasts, but in order to make it fit the 'scene' you feel the need to remove critical handling components. The reason i openened this topic was because i thought you were going to ask about a larger, stiffer ARB to increase handling stability and decrease body roll. Should've known better to be honest.
  16. I wreckon a Lupo TDI would be quicker than an equivalent mk3... Or if size if the issue, the Polo TDI.
  17. Personally, i think if you want a quick diesel, you'd be better off with a mk4, which comes with the reknowned PD lump. You can map a PD130 to be around 160bhp and a stupid amount of torque. I'm not sure about the mk3, but i think the TDI is 90bhp and i'm almost certain it's not PD and i don't think it's common rail either, so you're gonna struggle to get decent gains.
  18. R-tech in Hinckley are pretty good, as are Stealth Racing in Soutahm (warwickshire)
  19. Yes i have, but is it not current regulations that you have to meet emissions? There are hundreds of people with decats, lowered, engine conversions, chassis notches, HID's, momo steering wheels etc etc who still pass MOT's ona daily basis. They simply cannot enforce the new regs to the point where they fail every car for the most petty of things, such as an air bag light. The trick i often use is for a failed decat is, "Can you please cut my centre pipe, weld in the cat, pass the emissions test, then remove it again and re-fit the decat please". The normally tell you to f**k off and write you out a certificate there and then!
  20. If it bothers you that much, wire the bulb to come on with another warning light (ABS for example). Still a hell of a lot less work than all this rigmorole and free to do! Plenty of people run decats/stretched tyres/excessively low which are all a lot more blatent than an airbag light. I really can't see an MOT tester failing you for it. It'd be pathetic, especially when you consider that 90% of airbags don't work after 10 years anyway!
  21. Does that mean you can use mk3 golf hubs too? That'll mean 5 studs and loads of big brakes to choose from!
  22. Polybushing was the best handling mod i did my GTI. I used the Bonrath ones on ebay, from Germany. Postage was under a week and they fitted great!
