    Help!

Phone vw and ask for the part number for a sport. Then ask for the number for a Gti. Then compare.
  9. We all know fine well that what he needs is 30mm on the rear.
  10. Yeah I would never run hub centric spacers unless they were like 5mm or under cos it's uber sketchy.Cheers for the info

    Koop's Loops

Just cut the bolts? Seems pikey and I always thought it would be a bad idea but when you read the advice given by H&R they say that some spacers may require you to chop the standard bolts so surely it must be ok?
  12. Aye sorry mate maybe I didn't word it very well but yeah it's the frequencies that blows them. What Skezza said is a good shout too
  13. As long as you don't crank them to achieve a decent spl then you'll be fine. Keep the gain down (or atleast below they start to distort) and you won't have any issues so you could buy speakers in the short term, run them, and then once you have money for an amp you could run them at their full potential?
  14. You could run any of those speakers but you're really not getting the most out of them. It won't damage the speakers if you underpower them but you'll find that you can't really crank them up without them distorting. If they start to distort you run the risk of pushing the amplifier (the head unit in this case) into clipping. Once you've done that the voice coils will start to overheat and is generally sh*t for the speakers. So basically, you could get those speakers but it would be a waste of time and money unless you buy a dedicated amplifier to run them at the correct wattage. If you do buy them, don't be a fanny and crank them into distortion cos the chances are they'll get ****ed.
