  3. I was going to put forward admiral as an option cos they've been pretty good for me but i think that they're the same company as elephant? They ask for mods to be mentioned but dont't replace them in the case of an accident though which is poo.
  4. Holy crap this looks good. I need air in my life.

  8. Car looks good mate. I think i've got a spare headrest in the loft if you want it? Need to have a search around first though haha
  9. ^^what this guy said. You be best buying shocks to accommodate for the 60mm drop. As far as i'm aware 40mm is about as low as you can go without new shocks and if you get them you'd be aswell getting budget coilies for the amount you'd paid in for shocks and springs.
  10. Alreet get some pic of the loop up! You cheeky fellow you.
  11. I ended up sticking loooads of sound deadening in my 1L and it made a massive difference to the sound levels in the car. I went to the scrappy and took all the sound deadening material from under the carpets of random cars and stuck it in mine. Didn't cost a penny
  12. Looking good mate. The reg is very apt
  13. Those bumpers are awesome mate!
  14. The only way you'll get them is second hand and pretty much the second they come up on here they get sold. Your only shout is to check here and ebay all the time *edit* …or breakers yards but if they get a good set they'll probs stick them on ebay
  15. As above really. Just drive to a bunch of places and get some quotes. Or if you're lucky you might find someone selling some in ur colour of car.

    Dash Switch

It straight forward, just look for screw to remove really. I'll try describe how it's done: The very back part of the trim (behind the handbreak) pops up. Then lift up the gaitor and remove two nuts (12mm iirc). Pull the bit of trim out that's between the gear stick and handbreak. At the front end of the trim pull out the wee coin tray thing and then the trim that surround the heater controls. This will let you see a bunch of torx screws that need to be removed (t20 i think). There are also a couple more torx at either side of the trim aswell. You'll also need to remove the diagnostics to get the trim out completely and it's a right pain in the arse. There are 3 clips holding it on and you just need to try wiggle them off. Not sure if i've described it very well but give it a shot and if you get stuck on anything just post on here
  17. I had the same problem with mine mate. After fannying about with it for a couple hours i discovered that it was beacuse the window was out of line and was causing friction as it got closer to the top. If u take the lower door card off there are a couple bolts you can unscrew on the white clips and alter the height slightly. I did this and they now work perfect

There's plenty room behind the switches. You just need to take out a few things to get access. You're best shout is taking the trim off that goes along past the gear stick and having a look. Once that's off you'll be able to see where to wire to get to the back of the head unit.

  22. You're way better off looking at members rides for inspiration. There is loads you can do and i don't think anyone will be arsed writing them down for you.
  23. ^^ cool as ****. What volume did you manage in it though? I was originally wanting mine to sit at that height but it would mean not enough area inside for the subs. One of the problems with having two subs lol
