Fakos001
Hey! I’m having a lupo fsi.Originally it came out with a 5speed automatic gearbox. I already changed to a 5speed manual shift. My idea is to change for a 6speed gti gearbox. Does anyone know if it’s fit?

Blue Loop
Do you know if the FSi gearbox is the same as the 3L? Welcome, by the way!
mk2
The 3L box is just a bog standard 085 with a load of bits bolted onto it as far as I know... a computer simply does the clutch and gear change control.
lupogtiboy
If it's an 085 box then a GTI box isn't going to fit

Rich
I know what you want and I want a picture of the gearbox bolted to the fsi engine and then I want to tell you what you want to do.
LR5V
I read that the 6 speed bell-housing was unique to the Gti AVY block - starter is at the front of the engine and there is also a flange at the back of the block + lowest 2 bolts go through sump.
