Lupo fsi with gti gearbox

Recommended Posts

Hey!  I’m having a lupo fsi.Originally it came out with a 5speed automatic gearbox. I already changed to a 5speed manual shift. My idea is to change for a 6speed gti gearbox. Does anyone know if it’s fit?

Do you know if the FSi gearbox is the same as the 3L?

Welcome, by the way!

The 3L box is just a bog standard 085 with a load of bits bolted onto it as far as I know... a computer simply does the clutch and gear change control.

If it's an 085 box then a GTI box isn't going to fit

First of all thank you guys the answers, but i think some  of you don’t understand what i want. Because i have the fsi with a 5speed manual shift and it’s working perfectly fine. I want to change it again for a six speed gti gearbox. Thanks again i hope somebody can help thanks again🙏🏽

I know what you want and I want a picture of the gearbox bolted to the fsi engine and then I want to tell you what you want to do.

I read that the 6 speed bell-housing was unique to the Gti AVY block - starter is at the front of the engine and there is also a flange at the back of the block + lowest 2 bolts go through sump.
