mslater
Had my lupo for over a year but i've never got round to making a thread so here goes. When i first bought it, looking like its on stilts.Started by de-badgeing and fitting red grill surround. And a BMC CDA.Got round to fitting coilovers las summer.BeforeAfter.Just a pic of when it was snow foamed.I picked up some new wheels yesterday.Test fitted this morning.Excuse the dirty car lol.I can't wait for summer now to run them, think i'm going to have to get some stretched tyres as it looks like their going to rub.Sorry for the poor quality photos, their just off my phone, i need to invest in a good camera at some point. mslater
Decided to clean up the Oz turbos today as i was thinking of fitting them for UD.Started by snow foaming, then iron-x as they were covered in brake dust. Followed this with Meguiar's Gold Class shampoo and dried them off.I then polished with Meguiar's Nxt Generation All Metal Polish and finished off with a couple coats of Poorboys wheel sealant. This was my first attempt at polishing wheels, i know its not show standard but i'm quite happy.Only problem i discovered was a nail in one of the tyres the other day so i decided to get it repaired .Went to the local tyre garage only for them to tell me when the tyre was off that the nail wasn't causing the leak and it is probably the silicone seal where the lip meets the barrel. They suggested splitting the wheel and resealing it.Doesn't look like there going to be on any time soon now

mslater
Resealed the wheel today. Not the neatest but will hopefully stop the leak.Cant believe how tiny they look without tyres. Also got my dad to make a tool as they have weird bolts. I'd only finger tightened them before.Just need to wait for the seal to set, get the tyre back on, polish the centre caps and they will be ready to roll. mslater
Also never did an update about my boot build.Rear seats removed and false floor, purchased from Douggie off here.I gave engine bay a quick clean aswell.Next on the list is some custom piping instead of the horrible taped up pipe. mslater
Measured the wheel width whiles the tyres off.Looks like there 8's not 7's which means the ET with be roughly 3, I think i'm going to have trouble with them rubbing
mslater
Gave her a clean this morning.New sticker as well, not really true till the new wheels are on. Wheels are all sorted now so will be on within a few days.
