ponnyj Posted January 10, 2012 Report Share Posted January 10, 2012 Well, after seeing darkstryders lupo model done on 3dsmax i thought, what the hell, i'll give that a go.I used to used 3D software at school doing my engineering course but that was very simple and about 6 years ago!!So, i downloaded a trial and after a few tutorials and a good 10+ hours i had something that looked like a car!!Heres things as they progressedAnd as far as i got with it. puggled Posted January 10, 2012 Report Share Posted January 10, 2012 Looks like you need to recalculate the normals on the side glass, or at least join the vertices.What application were you using? In 3dsmax I think you could sort it by making sure they are all part of the same smoothing group? But I haven't used it since version 5, many years ago...
