This tells me nothing mate. What Im trying to dig at is.... The 1.8t 20v engine uses a recurculation valve rather than a bov. What have they done to get it this way. Eg: mapped the maf out and recuc pieces or what?

On this 1.8t how have you managed to get away with not having a recirculating valve? and just a normal bov

with 1.8t's there not very loud anyway its no louder than the standerd one really.

the resistance can be anything between .3 - 8 ohms i think ?

Remove and refit EGR valve £102 part and 0.20 labour (£8) Spark plugs remove & renew £16ish parts and 0.10hrs labour (£4) Remove and refit crank sensor £68 part and 0.40 labour (£16) Carry out diagnostic checks £30 That was for me then i may car 20-30 quid on top for my boss' cut like? = 264 That was me though ? i was young and in it for the experience and i used to get all the part less than trade and do it for fun because i enjoyed doing it. yours amounted 420+
