Nicki
border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" />Bathursts are fitted as standard to the Citi Golf in South Africa. The Citi Golf is a mk1 golf that they still make and Bathursts come on the VeloCiti 1.4i and 1.6i models...
bossjohnc
Yeah, been mentioned before once or twice :wink:Although they're fitted with 195s as standard...
M1 Lupo
I love the Mk1 and Mk2 Golfs. But it still needs a damn good lowering to appreciate the wheels.

Nicki
Know what you mean Tim, they look strange with a modern dash...
Jnmercury00
anyone know what kind of performance you get out of those models?is the mark 1 lighter than the lupo gti?

AndyW
Yeah, the car looks ok on the outside, but the interior is really weird, prefer the original!
Loopy Lupo
Yeah, the car looks ok on the outside, but the interior is really weird, prefer the original!know what you mean - but the dash is actually nicer than i thought it might be! Rookwise
The interior does look very out of place. Like the steering wheel though style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />Didn't think VW did a 5 door hatch Mk1 golf. Thought they were all 3 door hatch types until the Mk2 (Born again) Golf came along.
BigMon
Ooh dear I'm setting myself up for a kicking here aren't I!! I'm afraid I quite liked the interior *takes cover*.
Rookwise
The interior is nice. It just doesn't suit the Mk1 shape Golf. Looks like something that should have gone into a Polo or Bora
Loopy Lupo
er why? i'm with bigmon on this one - with the right subtle, yet modern mods outside i think it would all come together nicely!
tdwindustries
Its same weight as the Lupo give or take. They are about 3.5k GBP in South Africa. With import duty etc its just not worth it.They made MKI golfs in 3 and 5 door!!!!
