Looking at getting some G60 Steelies but not too sure yet.haha probably, not had it valued or anything noooooo SHOULD NOT HAVE PAINTED THE STRIPES ON!!!..sorry someone painted stripes on my lupo before i got it and the hardship of having to have the hole bonnet resprayed back to normal i wished they had just vinyled it onI know regretting it now! When you had your whole bonnet done, did it not stand out from the rest of the car, like a slightly different colour? Thats the only thing I dont want to happen if i get it sprayed back

cj1
hellooo, loving the loop (even though i dont like green)was just wondering how hard it was to change the interia light, its loooks the businesscheers AshIts easy mate, just pulls out , then the bulb just pulls out of the unit. You can get new ones on ebay, just search "vw lupo interior light", when i looked there was red, white, blue, green, and a disco effect. On a seperate note, its only a 1.0, but I was just wondering if anyone knows if theres anything I could do just to get it to set off a bit quicker? I know theres not much you can gain from a 1 litre but anythings better than nothing!
Turna29
cheers for responding m8, will change mine in the near by future.tbh if ur trying to get ur car a bit quicker, weight saving is the best (and cheapest )other than that, do a full service on it so that everything is working as it should beash
cj1
Beeen a while, quick update. Changed door speakers to some inphase components, still need to be amped though . Began changing the interior to black, covered the c pillar and rear door cards in fabric, and sprayed a lower front door card black. Looks ok so far.Don't want the roof just black though, any ideas on what to do it with ?Oh and Engine management light came on the other day, got it checked. Came up with "engine overspeed condition" , they'd never heard of it. Oops Sprayed lower door card. Accidentally stained the netting so need to get rid of that dark spot on it.Jet style switch, linked to some footwell lights. Slightly chavvy though Edited August 12, 2011 by cj1

cj1
Just out of curiousity. Would this be competitive in a f1000 rally? I mean if i strip the carpets and back seats etc and just leave the original seats in the front? I know ill need a cage and stuff as well
Adam R4
With a lot of work it probably would be competitive yeah. But you need to do far more than just strip out and cage. F1000 is much more involved than people think.
cj1
Was wondering if anyone could possibly help me please? I'm going to be getting some led daytime running lights, but dont have a clue how I would wire them to the ignition so they come on with the car? I've looked around but can't seem to find anything.Any help would be much appreciated, thanks
