Bought my GTI back in september 2009 after looking for the rite one for 8 months, managed to find a 54 plate with 32k on the clock and all the extras :)

the first mods were only small ones, fitted rear aero wiper german pressed plates and red grill piping.

couple of months later i lowered it on KW V1 inox coilovers, also installed the awesome ARB. obviously doin them at the same time, the difference from before was crazy.

random shiny photo :D

fitted a cupra splitter, not brilliant for the roads around here....spent more time hanging off than on lol

bought some flashy leather bits off a member on here, well happy with these.

My bathurst's were lookin pretty tired so a trip to the wheel specialist sorted that out, had them done in black chrome.

the rear wheels were hiding in the arches after lowering so i added some 15mm spacers, probably could have gone bigger but didnt want scrubbing.

decided to do some engine mods so had a janspeed cat-back fitted and also fitted a BMC with cold air feed.

fitted new coil pack and leads when i installed the BMC because the ride was getting abit lumpy

After reading peoples reactions to power flex bushes i bought a complete set for the front, while i was doin it i decided to fit new ball joints and drop links (what a bitch :angry2: )

Excellent example you have just made me wanna get my bathursts done in black chrome! Also I personally love the badge on the boot think it's perfection as I had a smoothed boot on my old sport and got bored of it so I think just the gti badge is the perfect answer gives you something for the eye to catch. Great work

Love it. First time ive seen someone smooth out the 3rd brake light. Maybe de-wiper to finish off the smooth back end?

i will remove the wiper in the summer, the lupo back end just gets so dirty so quickly. only problem is id wanna put it back on for the winter which is a bugger when you have

glued a glass plug into the window lol.

had a go at using the DA today, im new to this so was abit weary about doin damage so started off light. got all the swirls out of the bonnet but the deeper scratches remain.

shall i just stick a course pad and a cutting menzerna and blitz it?

Looks fantastic, makes me want a Gti so bad!

Think you should get a Mk5 VW boot openeron the boot tho, would finish it off!

in a perfect world i would but thats alot of work! idealy you need to source a whole mk5 boot and cut the fitting out of that to weld to the lupo.
