PaperWeight1
I'm used to running toyo proxes 1's but fancy a change.Eagles are too expensive and I've run them before and can't justify the cost this time round.Considering Uniroyal Rainsport 2's but there's loads of mixed reviews! Several people have said they're great and other said they're very noisy and rubbish in the wet.

treblet
Personally I'd go for Falken Ziex ZE-912.I have them in 14" on mine and can't recommend them enough. They are great in the rain, grip really well in the dry and don't wear too quickly. Edited June 29, 2010 by treblet

PaperWeight1
Toyo PX4's are alreet for that kinda cash!I don't want toyo's again and from experience the 4's are worse than the 1's in every area.{ersonally I'd go for Falken Ziex ZE-912.I have them in 14" on mine and can't recommend them enough. They are great in the rain, grip really well in the dry and don't wear too quickly. They were my other consideration.
R99
UniRoyal RainSport 2's are awesome. I had a set on a 220bhp JCW MINI and they were simply amazing in the wet.Whoever has reviewd them as poor in the wet frankly needs shooting. Pete
Falken falken falken!! Well, if your stretching them I'd recommend them. Used to do tyre fitting and found they were the easiest to get a stretch on!
jon_273
Uniroyal Rainsport 2's are great in the wet! That's the whole point of them - they are called "the rain tyre".They are not the best in the dry, but they are a good all rounder, and good for the price. I was considering these and T1R's, went for the Uniroyals in the end.
nfbr
Yep, Rainsport 2's are a definite but aren't they a bit more than £45 these days?
richcr
avon zv3's are awesome.. about £65 per corner but worth every penny imo.. great in the wet and dry and wear well.
