hey guys i just got on here.

Ive currently have 3 ford fiesta si`s. my 1st 1 i spent tons of dosh on but had an incident where i drove into the back of my dad at a junction lol so i took it off the road and bought another one which i skidded on ice and hit a tree in the other day. i also bought 1 just to break and use 4 parts so ive had 3 in total.

1st one:

was planning on putting the 1st one back on the road but turns out its gona cost me 2k insurance. so time to move on..

im planning on keeping the 1st one as a project car and have my arosa as a daily car.

anyway enough about fiestas!

always wanted a lupo gti but as insurance is an issue cant have one yet..

so i just put a deposit down on this:

its an arosa sport 1.4 16v.

done 60k with a full seat/skoda main dealer service history.

needs a few things doing to it but the garage are doing most of it.

gear linkage is playing up. hard to get into 1st coz it goes into 3rd but they are doin that.

needs a leccy window switch.

door stay had snapped - they gonna fix that.

the boot spooiler has snapped the aerial off but they are also fixing that.

they are also gona put new brakes all round on it.

need a battery in the remote 4 the locking.

theres a few bits and bob wrong with it like but they are easy fixes.

also got 14" wolfrace wheels in black on it but they will be changed for something different as im not a fan!

im looking forward to picking it up on my birthday on wednesday now. goes really well too!

ill keep it 4 a year orr so then buy a gti!

anyway heres some pics!

what sort of things do you guys do to these like??

how much power can you get out of these? and what bits do you put on em, what exhausts,filters,etc..??

also is the lupo suspension the same as this? coz my mates got a set of 40mm gmax springs and shocks brand new which i can get cheap.

how fast are these in comparison to zetec s` and saxo vtrs etc?? coz it feels just as quick like!

Welcome to Clublupo! Nice cars btw. I dont think this car is as fast as a Zetec S 1.6 or VTR's but theyre still nippy because theres no weight to them at all lol!

Id say drop it on coilovers, spray the badges on the back and front black, smooth the bumpers, get some nice wheels for it with a dish. Just the small mods really will improve it by alot!

Lookin forward to seein some pictures of some updates,

Check the other arosa's on here to get some ideas

I dont think im gona go too mad on this car.

maybe lower it a bit change the wheels and put a filter and exhaust on it but thats gona be it i think. coz i wana get my fiesta looking and going awesome.

i just want this to be a tidy road car like coz i went all out 4 it with thee fiestas, had avo coilovers, mondeo st brakes with braided hoses fully polybushed, full ashley comp exhaust etc....

just wana keep this looking subtle.

i didnt realise the spoiler wasnt standard! that explains why the aerial has snapped off then. i think it looks nice.

not sure on the wheels thou. not a fan of black wheels and they are only 14s, arent the standard alloys 15s??? what size wheels can you put on them when its lowered aswel? coz the 14s seem really close to the arch on the front?

it seeemed as quick as my mates zetec s! not as quick as my dad ignis sport thou. what have you guys done to yours to make them faster then? how much power can you get from theem?

aww rite thas awesome!!

have u got a vid of it on youtube?? i seen 1 on there rr`d at 115bhp.

im thinking of putting my gfs 15" alloys on it as i think they mite look better 4 the time being.they are the ones on my second fiesta in the pics. only thing is im not sure if they will be too big as they are 195/50/15 tyres??

im also buying some brand new gmax 40mm springs and shocks off my mate soon. i know they are only cheapy gmax but they will do just to stiffen it up a bit a give it a good stance, like i sed im not going mad with this but the suspension comes at a very good price!

Yeh thats mine on youtube. Need to make a new vid with the exhaust on.

Some people get away with 195/50/15's but i found when I fitted them to my 15's they caught the arches quite badly on harsh bumps and i couldn't use full lock when turning left. I have 195/45/15s fitted now and lowered 30mm and i have no problems at all :)

yea be good to hear the exhaust.

yea i think im gona need 45s. im lowering it 40mm aswel so i duno. mite have to keep 14s.

Door Stays

Aerial - DONE

Airbag light

Wheel balancing

Headlight adjuster - DONE

Gearbox/clutch adjustment problem

dont think theres much else but they are only little things, touch wood..

i can also add a 90bhp corsa b 1.4 16v SRi to the kill list now as i left my mate 4 dead earlier!

done some more work on it in work 2day!

fitted a pair of brand new Falken ZIEX ZE912 tyres on the front.

Balanced all 4 wheels

had to fit a new O/S Trackrod, as the one on there was swaying like mad! how the hell the cars sales got a brand new mot on it i dont know.

then tracked it up.

last nite we adjusted the clutch cable so it now slides into gear nicely.

we also fitted the bmc on properly now aswel.

oh it handles so much better with the falkens!

Also fitted my JVC Cd player from my fiesta. sounds good, VAG Speakers FTW!!

DSC00036.jpg

Pics of the BMC, now properly fitted.(also got a rubber cap on the end of the cold air feed now aswel which makes it look neater)

DSC00034.jpg

DSC00033.jpg

DSC00035.jpg

graph for the BMC CDA (same as this except its made of carbon fibre)

100.7PS standard

107.1PS with the BMC

i dont think its that loud. mind you i had a full ashley comp on the fiesta. that thing was loud lol.

i think its nice, doesnt really seemed to have made a difference but sounds better.

that sounds nice mate.

where do you get those from? i fancy a janspeed myself. i duno where to get them though.

plugged the computer into it in work 2day. came up that there was low resistance in the side airbag. so cleared the codes and light hasnt come back on. :)

ot a bit of a flatspotting problem now....

plugged the computer into it and it brings up a lambda sensor fault.

so thats gona have to be changed now.

list of things to do/fix:

Door Stays -

Aerial - DONE

Airbag light - DONE

Wheel balancing - DONE

Front tyres - DONE

Headlight adjuster - DONE

Gearbox/clutch adjustment problem - DONE

O/S Track rod end - DONE

Lambda Sensor -

Remote Locking Key -

Wheel arch paint -

I took the frigging paint off the wheel arch saturday! my bosses son was washing my car in work and i took over to do the arches but didnt realise that he had the temperature up high on the steamer and i caught the arch, took the paint straight off... im gutted, another thing to add to the bloody list!!

on a good note my mate put an aerial base on it off his spare corsa aswel, so looks a bit neater now and radio works a bit.

anyway ive been to the moon and back 2day.

been quoted this and that 4 a lambda sensor then been told that i was quoted the wrong 1! I been round all the motor factors

anyway i ended up in seat in cardiff! where a lad got me a list of prices for the parts i needed and then pointed me towards and VAG trade parts specialist (TPS) down cardiff docks, where i had already been to eurocarparts twice!!

anyway luckily im in the trade picked up.

An electric window switch

Check rod and pin for the door.

ive also got the lambda sensor and another check rod 4 the other door ordered up! should be having them delivered to my works on wednesday.

best thing is everything cost me around £130 quid! a bloody lambda sensor was £120 in some places!

and they are proper VAG parts

also got a quote from my mates bodyshop to do both the rear arches, as one has a small dent in it and the other had a little bit of rust and i took the paint off it. £150 to do both. and £50 to have it all mopped!

also got the correct switch 4 my window earlier, so that will be fixed later. might also give it a hoover out and polish it. and maybe fit some speakers i bought for the fiesta, which were the wrong size, but should fit this.

Door Stays - DONE

Aerial - DONE

Airbag light - DONE

Wheel balancing - DONE

Front tyres - DONE

Headlight adjuster - HALF DONE

Gearbox/clutch adjustment problem - DONE

O/S Track rod end - DONE

Lambda Sensor -

Remote Locking Key -

Window Switch - DONE

Ive managed to get the remote locking lock the doors now aswel, but it wont unlock them yet, need to fiddle with the key..

anyway, driving home last nite the abs light came on.

so plugged it into the diagnostics in work 2day. brought up rear left abs sensor. took the wheel off and had a look and found that the wire wasnt clipped into its holding clips and that it seems the wheel has worn through the wire, so that needs replacing now!!

also cleared the codes for the lambda problem, just gota leave it a bit now then check again, pretty sure its the front lambda thats knackered.
