well the arosas still running lovely.

fitted a new cd player the other day. the one outer my fiesta never had the iso loom on the back and as you probs know in vag cars you gota switch the yellow and red wires around to keep the memory.

so i bought a new one, as it kept starting cds again everytime i turned it on. done my bloody head in!

DSC00194.jpg

still on the look out 4 some nice wheels!

DSC00195.jpg

also ive noticed that kam racing are selling off raceland 4-2-1 manifolds, so as soon as ive sold some more fiesta parts, i should be buying one!

o someone nicked my drivers side mirror glass aswel. and im struggling to get a new one.

fitted a set 165/50/15 Bridgestone Potenza RE040s to the pepperpots in work yesterday. so got some stretch on em now.

as i was a bit worried about scrubbing with 195s spaced out 20mm, i eventually decided to fit the 165s. the good thing is aswel i got premium tyres cheap now. i could only get mid range 4 the same price with 195s.

anyway they look cool.

on the car, without the 20mm adaptors thoough, so no spacing, its also lower than this usually these were taken aften the car had been jacked up and the suspension hadnt settled.

just waiting 4 adaptors to arrive now!

update!!

to cut a long story short! i didnt end up getting my adaptors 4 the pepperpots, as they were on back order from germany and gwent vw couldnt get them.

so i ended up going to stroud to get some borbet ts!

14x7j

ET25

Mmm Dish!! :crazi:

they are also running 185/55/14s so a tiny bit of stretch.

DSC00291.jpg

anyway, put em on and they scrubbed like feck!!

DSC00298.jpg

so one night i was lying in bed and had a bit of a brainwave!

so the next day in work i decided to adjust the front camber.

the result is.....

DSC00299.jpg

it doesnt scrub anymore!!haha handles awesome now as well

but now my exhaust is blowing!! from the flexi.

so had a quote from longlife earlier to fit a wider flexi and de-cat section. £148. so thinking of booking it in next week. then buy a scorpion cat-back later.

oh and i also gave it a service in work the other day!

Whilst i respect the fact that you have fixed the scrubbing problem for now, those wheels would look so much better with 40's or 45s on them :coffee:

Other than that, looks good and coming along nicely.

de-restricted the airbox on it the other, along with a good service and some new lower arms. drives like a dream now, she reckons its as quick as the arosa but i dont think so :crazi: lol.

had a new stainless flexi and de-cat section made up down longlife in cardiff.

DSC00305.jpg

goes a bit better higher up rev range now and sound quite cool with the standard system.

then the other day, my new tyres finally turned up in work.

195/45/14 Toyo T1-Rs! all i can say is OMG! they are awesome!!

and no more scrubbing, look better too!

done a few more things since last time.

changed the air filter again, it went better with this one tbh.

DSC00359.jpg

DSC00360.jpg

then thought i`d try modifying the airbox and using a standard filter to see how that went.

so i removed this restictive looking part from the airbox.

DSC00367.jpg

DSC00369.jpg

DSC00370.jpg

added a k&n sticky to spice it up a bit lol, its definately not as quick with the standard filter on, or doesnt seem any better on fuel, so bmc will be going back on soon.

damaged my front left wheel in a lane a couple of weeks ago, hit a frigging brick in the road! i was tamping! took a pretty big chunk out of my wheel, and made a small hole in the tyre!

my mates hopefully gona powdercoat em anthracite for me soon though.

more recently, i painted my calipers blue (to match the seats really, and everyone has red), i think they look much better now.

DSC00376.jpg

DSC00377.jpg

also fitted the seat mudflaps that have been in the boot since ive had the car! they catch the floor though, but keeps it clean!!

DSC00379.jpg

DSC00380.jpg

also robbed the flexi wipers off the fiesta im breaking, make it look more modern, ive also got some silvatec side repeater bulbs off it to go on and i also fitted the blue sidelight bulbs off it aswel (already had some but these ones look a nicer blue)
