joed05
ive been thinking or either ITB's or a supercharger then i thought about a turbo, havent heard much of it on here, thinking it would be cheaper than ITB's which ive really looked in to the past couple of months. what turbo would i need and all parts associated, im not a complete noob to turbos i just want to clear it up with people more technically minded than me
Picola
itb's are cheaper way to go than turbo, off the shelf stuff is only available from mainly german tuners for turbo applications tbh maybe you could go the g40 route and turbo that?.my jenveys inc inlet manifold came in at £900 ish then i got all my stand alone management done.just thought i'd add it's mitch posting not picola. joed05
will probably stick with ITB's as my plan, been researching and its incredibly confusing with compression and all that, i know what im doing with throttle bodies, mmm where to buy
pro3mark
Badger5 for the Jenveys, standalone can be purchased most places that would be able to map them.
Whiny 77
If your after a turbo, I'm sure it would be easyer to just do an engine change. If your after a small block turbo why not look at Toyota Starlet Turbo engine, I'm pretty sure no one on here has done that yet, just stick Nitrous on it. At least with NItrous u can put in on your next car when u change it.

Car was a 75 hp originalnext winter we will probably put in a 1.8t engine instead and go for 200 hp

How on earth would it be easier to fit a Toyota Starlet engine than turbo the original 1.4?A truly 'ghetto' turbo conversion a Lupo 1.4 wouldn't be too expensive IMHO, well, expensive in as far as turbo conversions go.
