May I ask why you want to do this? You already have 100bhp, why not spend the money on others mods like exhaust and induction and get the 125bhp that way? For the money you could end up spending on the engine conversion you could probably put itbs on there
-
Depends on what other mods you have done or are doing at the same time, if you've got a set of cams in go for 45 IMO, if not stick to 42

'kill the engines/turbos' 'To be fair, I could go on all night, but I sometimes think my knowledge is wasted sometimes on here' Umm, cooper s doesn't have a turbo
-
Use the search function buddy, countless times people have asked, you might be the 1/100 person to actually carry it out
-
Haha want a set of these for my c30
-
Haven't done it myself but samco hose with the right bore for your throttle body, joiners if you need them and 2 jubilee clips, did it with my old ka

Just read the whole thread to come to a bit of an anti climax, any news?

There's been lupos with around 400bhp with then engine in the front, why make more work for yourself?
-
Search for it..

Was that directed to me or (son)? If it was me, nope, I'm welsh

You can do anything with deep pockets, if your changing to improve power why not just sell the 1.0 and get a 1.4 or even a gti?
-
I walked to get my lupo, could see the dealers from my house, he'll of a workout, I had to take my old cars papers and everything, effort.
-
Polo gti imho, you will need engine, full loom, ecu and driveshafts iirc
-
Fair enough I can't knock that
-
Can I ask how many pages you went through lol. You seem to do this quite a bit, a lot of time on your hands...
-
3.0l 2jz with a t78, easily 900bhp. Or I've been told a veyron engine would fit although it could be quite difficult.
-
Btw a 1.4s isn't a sport. You said you were going to look at a 1.4s on the way back?
-
T78 turbo, good for 900bhp

Use the search function mate, countless threads on this.

Insurance has gone up 23% in 3 months. Quinn didn't go bust, they extended their Market to the rest of the uk from Ireland then withdrew when the recession hit, they are back again now.

1.6t r design, nice to drive. And I'm 19 so don't have any kids on the way (I hope) needed to change the sport really.
-
I'm sorry to say that I have not got the lupo anymore, I have changed it for a Volvo c30.
-
Cheers mate would of thought so, see how it goes

I've been looking at the 1.8t conversion now that my engines catastrophically decided to seize and break I have an excuse I know someone who's just written off their golf gti and he's selling it for parts, I was thinking of buying the whole thing, splitting the engine and using it. Also using the brakes and seats if they are the recaros. Am I right by saying I can use the gti loom and ecu for the conversion, or will I need standalone? Also, can I use the existing mk4 engine mounts? Cheers
