Kam Racing
kool mate it was kam-racing where i seen them, em do have power flex bushes on your car? if so are they easy to fit and do i need new suspension parts? Not got the Powerflex bushes on my car yet. Seems everytime I've managed to make time to fit them we've had a flood of sales and had to sell the set I'd put aside they look pretty simple to fit. I'm sure someone on here will be able to say exactly how long it took them..

HAIRBear
are there anything on the rear of these that can be removed like adjusters to make them lower?
nfbr
are there anything on the rear of these that can be removed like adjusters to make them lower?yes, they use the same basic design of adjustable lower spring platform as all the other coilovers with adjustable rear ride height. HAIRBear
yeah but there at the lowest they will go...
nfbr
Remove the adjuster collar but leave the spring platform in position. See if that does enough for you.Remember, NEVER HAVE THE REAR LOWER THAN THE FRONT.
HAIRBear
ok ill give that a go, what exactly is that? like the adjuster on the front to move them up and down? the red part? why that apart from it looking like a saxo Edited January 30, 2010 by HAIRBear
nfbr
If the back end is lower than the front it ruins the handling. Front wheel drives should always have a little bit of forward rake!
HAIRBear
alright mate cheers, edited btw ^
nfbr
Yeah kind of, but it is threaded onto a spring platform rather than part of the strut body.

bobbo
You should be ok with just ripping out the adjusters for nowThat was mine on weitecs and 13's without adjusters
HAIRBear
ill see how it goes then! boot build should weigh it down a bit aswell. i think ill make it out of steel lol nothing else that can be taken out then?
bobbo
Other than coils on your springs no. All i will say is that like nfbr said, you dont want the back lower than the front, get the back low enough and the front will have to be lower then you'll be constantly scraping wishbones. Its a fine balance
