CAR NOW SOLD!!! : ( Hope the new owner enjoys it. Its still in the club.
-
I wouldnt say overpriced, they are a modern day classic. Rare, sought after cars. Mines been up for sale less than a week, a guy is coming sunday to pretty much take it away, i have had about 20 calls on it and numerous offers. I'd say the market was very strong for them.

Its all about the image... If you were selling you house, and the Estate Agent turned up with an Evo grumbling away on the drive you would be particularly impressed... If I was selling my house and an Estate Agent turned up with a Rolls Royce, I'd think I'm not giving that snob my business, he's got far too much money as it is!!!

Aye, well worth the coin, Ive got them on mine. Great Quality. -
Well the new rims deal went kaput. Due to circumstances with work, I have regretably put the car up for sale. See for sale section. Sam

I think for you to say a Civic Type R is soul-less and only moves once you get it going.... Then say, why not a diesel? Does sound rather odd! LOL! Unfortunatley I am not able to get a VX220, Elise, S2k etc... due to work, I am an estate agent, its all about the image with these things. I dont want to sell the Lupo, its been great, but I need to. Driving around all day and dont want to be clocking any more miles on it. Against my will unfortunatley.

Cooper S works it is then! Yeah, iv'e heard they are heavy on juice. Should be okay, IMO the Lupo isnt exactly great for a 1.6!! All depends how you drive them I guess
-
decisions decision, ive been quoted happy on a Mini Cooper S John Cooper Works edition (210bhp Supercharged one)!!
-
Whats the TT like compared to the lupo? My brother had a Mk4 R32, it was mapped, milltek resonated exhaust and a carbonario induction system. Was epic quick!
-
Im in the same boat, love my Lupo, love the looks and it goes well for a little 1.6. But, now im 21 with 2 years NCB under my belt.... i want something quicker. But, I dont know what!! Clio 197, Megane 225, Audi S3 (Old shape), R32 mk4, Mini Cooper S JCW or Audi TT 225. That is my shortlist, but I think I will regret getting rid of the GTi!!!
