I go away for a few days and **** kicks off! Haha

Jowey, share these plans with me!!!!! Also, love the ghost lace, however i cant help but think you should have covered the roof in it and had the end on the top of the boot lid?

Looks sick either way! :P

Welcome back LGG

I hear what you are saying there, but I want it as

subtle as can be. I will however be going over the top part of the boot lid in

lacquer also just to blend it all in. I love wrap around glass :)

Loving the roof Jowey. Really original :shades:

Thank you amber :D

Cheeky git!

I missed that.

who me ? I'm innocentpedobear_dock_icon_1_21393_6692_thu.jpg

whoring the link around because it is an incredibly useful utility !

The best bit is when I see threads entitled 'will these fit'

I don't have to write anything useful..

I can just post cats but still transfer the required information.. WIN, WIN

offsets of the new wheels are ET48 and ET15 :shades:

Is that front and rear respectively?

If so, MEGA TUCK!

upfront will be more tuck than Buffalo Bill..

Buffalo_Bill-1.jpg

and well I'll leave the back to your imagination haha

Edit: It rubs the lotion on its skin.. Or else it gets the hose again..

I think the centre cap dish is seriously sick.

CIMG0298.jpg

Got the lovely new hoops this morning.

The rears have been powder-coated :shades:

Which is an awesome bonus.

Also have Alpine centre caps rather than Renault ones which I'd imagine are

slightly harder to find.

Also came fitted with very good Falken Ziex ZE 512 225/50/15's

Which is slightly narrow for a 8.5J wheel and does mean they have a very mild stretch

however they are useless to me so will be sold on.

The fronts have 195/50/15 Goodyear eagle ventura's fitted

these are the same tires a friend of mine has on his 400bhp Subaru and they grip and grip wet or dry.

Current plan is to fit the 195/50's onto the 8.5's

and run a ball load of camber on the back and grit my teeth and hope there is enough clearance.

If not they'll be up for sale too.

and I'll go for some 195/40's .. or possibly 185's but will be running dog leg out back

and i dont fancy running on the square stetched edge of a nankang

The fronts will need spacing out because they are ET48

so 15mm spacing will be needed. want to keep it mega tuck.. maybe space them out

to sit flush at a later date. We all know spacers are cheating in the fitment game B)

Bad news is I am totally broke now

So can't get spigots, spacers or the tires removed/refitted until the 25th :(

had a few suspension bits turn up today aswell . but no photo updates of that until

I know it works :coffee:

(see Sam thats how you do an update !)

One thing I didnt consider with the clear coated lace paint

is lacquer peel.

It was frosty last night and it has already started to peel in place.

gaay

Got the new suspension on.. hello reverse rake.

needs some tweaking. pix tomorrow hopefully.

nice! what wheels are they??? look a bit like 'vette ones? Are all 4 8.5j??.. or just the rears?

I thought they were 'vette sawblades when I first saw them too.

fronts 6J rear are 8.5J

Awesome wheels! What a bargain too :)

Cant wait to see these fitted,

Rich.

Thanks Rich !

Next time I'm online say hi to me on MSN.. I deleted all my contact list accidently

I miss our chats

Need to get them fitted mate, look awesome, bonus on the coated rears!

Got some 195/45 should you need them.

HOW much camber will the rears need though

Can't wait to get them fitted.. need to beg/borrow/steel some spacers and I can

roll them.

Might take you up on those 195/45's shall see how how the 195/50's sit.

Looking good dude as always dude B)

Thanks Kam dude. When do I get my plaque of hoopty approval hmm ;) ?

awesome update Jowey! :) and that little teaser picture looks great! im glad Oscar and i have persuaded to go for the camber!

we will have to meet up for a coffee again soon, like the old ladies we are! :)

The pictures of Pankton in the 'shiney' thread made me want camber.

Still not holy convinced camber works on hatchbacks .. let alone one

with NO rear overhang what so ever. . then again from the rear

Yes coffee soon is a must. I could do with my roof bars to ferry

wheels and tires around atm  was a nightmare trying to fit 2 sets of wheels in the back

without scratching anything.
