treblet
I just used normal spray paint... it's rather crispy now but at least its all black!
VWR Lupo
Best thing to use is Autoglym black dye, comes in a spray can but you will need about 4 cans to get a finish!I have used it on my parcel shelf and its awesome stuff!
Sunderland
Hmm ok, but having to buy 4 will be expensive hah. Need to wait til i gets paid.
Greig
I used the garden underlay for my roof.Cost 7 pounds and looks great - will need to use spray glue though, so it doesnt seep through.Probably cheaper than 4 cans of dye lol

Need to wait til i gets paid. Its well worth the money mate for the best finish imo.Tho saying that Triblet's roof lining looked good with normal paint, not sure if will end up cracking tho! treblet
Its not saturated in paint so it shouldn't crack at all, I just keep having to touch up bits where it's been knocked as the paint eventually rubs off!

Tom_B
Recovering just takes lots of time and a steady hand. Its much better to just recover it.

cobblers
Maybe not so useful for a headlining, but for carpets normal powdered dye is ideal:http://retrorides.proboards.com/index.cgi?...mp;thread=62014 Edited June 17, 2009 by cobblers
chippa
so do you have to remove your head lining to do this?how is this achieved and is it glued all the way like my mates punto?
Sunderland
Yup, take all the grab handles etc off then just unclip it, i think its secured the same way the door cars are or is it the same as the pillars?

JamesU
No.Visors and handles all need to be unscrewed. The little sun blocker needs to be unscrewed. There are two large tabs at the very back of the car.The rest just pulls down. The light comes out with it too, but you have to unplug it!James.
