lululupo
Theres a lot of good films out at the moment (well ones that look good anyway) but I think The Wrestler is gonna be one of the films of the year, I think I'll be hard pressed to find one that tops it in 2009.What does everyone else think? Any other recommendations? Edited January 18, 2009 by lululupo
Putney
not one for going to the cinema but i just watched 'Into the Wild'... I watched it in the morning and then thought about it most of the day. Not going to ruin the story line but it was beautifly shot...

lululupo
I hate wrestling too but thats not really the full story of the film, Mickey Rourke's performance is fantastic and its so moving. I havent seen Pineapple Express, is that the comedy one thats to do with a bank robbery or something similar?I went to the cinema this weekend to see Slumdog Millionaire... Acting is brilliant and storyline is really gripping!I want to go see Bride Wars - I know its a cheap comedy but I like simple films sometimes, pick and mix and I'm sorted! VinnyGTI
Just seen Seven Pounds tonight, and i though it was really good. When the film finished all the lasses went to the toilet and the misses said that there was about 10 lasses in front of the mirror sniffling and sorting out their eye make up - lol!Vinny
