  1. Give me the reg dude - I can do HPI checks
  2. A young woman goes to the supermarket and places into her basket a bar of soap, a toothbrush, a tube of toothpaste, and a single frozen meal. She goes to the checkout and the checkout guy asks "Single, huh?" The woman replies "Yes I am, what gave it away?" To what the checkout guy replies.."You're ugly." lol!
  3. MY local Tesco is a Superduper store and where selling silver 20 litre cans few weeks ago reduced to £7.95
  4. Lost - ah where do I start. I watched the first season over just 1 weekend with the missus and then watched the second season the following. After that the show just lost itself - no pun intended. As for Season 5 - wtf!! Time travelling island - I like the analogy used - skipping record - but really! It bothers me that it was originally planned for 2 seasons then the rumors came out about 7 series - it looks that way and I'm getting board - oh and yeah - the question regarding the numbers STILL hasn't been answered = that was 3 years ago!!!!
  5. Taken - brilliant film - Liam Neeson is top notch in it. Slumdog Millionaire - Just watched it - good movie! Revolutionary Road - Good Movie The Wrestler - really liked this one! Seven Pounds - great movie but a little over hyped - was lucky enough to catch it before Xmas and hadn't heard anything about it so really surprised that it was good. Ink Heart - OMG - what a sleaming pile of s**t Gran Torino - the new Clint Eastwood - probably best film seen in a month or so - didn't expect it to be funny but it was. Zack and Miri Make a Porno - hilarious!! "Can I get a coffee, black?" "Cant you see we're talkin' here, white." Great line!

  7. Seriously HPI's are awesome - I regularly check on my old cars - I had a ****in awesome mk3 Polo GT - White - slammed - full DTM Scorpian decatted exhaust - was well rapid. Hands down my favourite car. Loved it.....sold it 5 years ago. Scrapped last year. RIP H252 EBD - I miss you.

  9. True indeed - selling a car is an arse - I CANNOT believe in having trouble shifting my 1.4tdi Arosa - I've had 1 call so far in 3 weeks of it being on the trader and on ebay - 1 CALL! Its cheap price - its £35 year to tax and gets 60 MPG - come on!!
  10. Tidy car by the looks - all straight on HPI too. EDIT: I've been in a 1.0L thats done over 120K and drove as good that day as it did when it had only covered 70K - think they are quite robust. I had an old B reg 1L Polo Breadvan when I passed my test about 8 years ago B36 BOK - still going now in fact. I changed the Oil Breather on it and the oil pump and did 20K in it in 12 months. F**kin best car ever. I seriously thought about having it back a couple of months ago when it came back up on market. Anyway - my point was going to be - I got insurance back then 18 - £649.00 - how? I did my Pass Plus and then ChurchHill gave me 1 NCB - WELL WORTH doing my pass plus was! Worth checking out how much you get off now.
  11. Just HPI'd S88DSJ - comes up clean dude - 5 previous owners - last keeper change 27/01/2007 And most important - WHITE is the original colour! Awesome sweet car - will look forward to seeing this around Studley!
  12. (Dropping into 3rd, foot on floor) Luke I have you now....
  13. Think I will end up doing it myself again. At least you know its done properly that way!
  14. Swung by kwikfit as they advertising £74.00 for an interim service - quick maths worked out that seeing as though 505.01 PD oil and filter sets you back about £40 - an air filter another £15 and a fuel filter £9.00 I thought for the additional - what a tenner - i'm get some other guy to do it - plus he can stmp my book whilst he is there!! Point being.... what oil do they use - so I asked and it was Mobil 1 - 10-40W - not the 5-30W that VW recommend. So I decided against it - now I'm thinking - how many others have thought to check this and how many oil changes have been done with the wrong oil by Kwikfit?!!!!
