Hey all, My car battery died about a month ago and since it had been in since new and I only drive about a mile to work each day I got a new one. However now this battery's died already!!! I bought a battery/alternator tester that plugs into the cigarette lighter socket. All the lights are green on battery and alternator, only when I run it at full with lights, HU, blowers etc the green light flashes on n off, but then I'd never have the blowers on full anyway. hey all, just wonderin if someone could possibly help please? I have a Navman idn3000 in-dash satnav, went to use it the other day and it says no maps available? I've checked all the connections, the satnav lists what maps are on the SD cards in both slots but wont allow me to tick any of them to enable them. I've recently replaced the car battery though. Could this have effected it at all? Dunno what else to do other than to get an SD card reader for the PC to make sure the files are still all OK?

I got mine fixed today! The battery WAS dead! £20 callout from a local mobile mechanic cos my breakdown wouldnt cover me within a mile of home, £43 for a new battery. Dunno if its something u wanna look at JB1.0e as mine started off by taking longer to start before it stopped completely.

Help! Mine started taking longer to start than usual over the last couple of days then tonight when I finished work it wouldn't start at all!!! Gonna call someone out in the mornin to take a look if no1 here can help? Headlights come on, CD player comes on but the engine wont start and the and the baclight on the panel doesnt light up. pretty much everything dims when trying to start the car and there is a ticking still going after I've tried to start the car. Any suggestions please?
