New bulbs fitted yesterday. Can now see everything in every tree! Still no road though, but I'll be adjusting them tomorrow with the aid of an mot garage.

Spent an age giving it a proper polish the other day.

Bonnet bra come today, and i found some checkered tape, which firstly we went a bit crazy with, then reduced it down. shall get some pictures of that another time.

Still awaiting the boss kit to fit the Sparco wheel, becoming a bit of a pain in the ass now. Might be able to pick up a front bumper off someone i know with the recess filled in, so that might feature soon.

My mate also just wrote off his Fiesta, and i managed to convince him to buy a Lupo today :) 1.4s in Jazz Blue. Big plans for that so i'm sure you'll see it on here.

Haha i'm glad some people like it. I love the way because they are all seperate stripes its not perfect lines so it makes it even more confusing to look at.

Theres about 60 stripes of tape on there, all matched to the next and then cut. Was a loooong process.

EDIT: Also picked up some Recaro's out of a Golf today, which will be going in tomorrow after some modding to the frames. Still awaiting boss kit for the Sparco wheel...

The laws....

For a legal window tint in the UK the specifications are:

a) Motor Vehicles first used on or after 1 April 1985

B ) The light transmitted through the windscreen must be at least 75%.

c) The front side windows (to either side of the drivers’ head) must allow at least 70% of light to be transmitted through them

not strictly true.

Any non-factory tint forward of the B-Post is Illegal.

A mate of mine was pulled the other week for tints on the front. Police officer said that any tint on the windscreen no matter how dark it is is illegal (apart from the sunstripe) and the front windows must allow 70% percent in.

Sometimes the law differs from what the cops actually do you for, leaving the possibility of getting out of it, but highly unlikely. Lucky the cop had no testing equipment on him and let my mate go.

Awesome! love the roof :) not so sure on the petrol cap or the tints but I can see why you'd want to try and keep the system concealed a bit. Really like where it's going anyway! look forward to seeing these recaros too ;)

Recaro's are in! No work needed at all, which i was rather suprised about, rather hard to slide though, but with the sub box in the back they're not gunna' go very far! They are so ridiculously low down, i love it. Can't wait to get the Sparco wheel in there now.

Went to an MK show last night and the guy who did the audio instal came over and had a word. Fixed the headunit problem i've been having so the dash is back to look clean as i dont have the headunit half hanging out! Also thinking of an upgrade on subs, but need more £££ to spalsh first.

Anyways, Recaro pics, and some other shots of mine and my mates new 1.4s (he's using my bra on the temp):

Love the seats matey!

Glad you met dave too, has he been talking you into some level 4 DCs ? if so it would be awesome! and run another 1500D amp, probably an alternator upgrade too :)

glad your looking after her mate!

Aye DC Level 4's. Was looking into them some time ago as well. Yeah he was saying about running another of the 1500d amps and it should be fine. He said the alternator would be able to cope with it, but I wasn't too sure. I'll look into in the future!

Also, that drivers side seat looks mighty dirty and scrappy! Might have to clean them all over and maybe have a re-trim. It doesn't look that bad in real life i promise :) Next on the agenda is re-trimming the door cards in a black vinyl. Could be fun giving that a bash, but should hopefully come out alright!

Update!

Gave up waiting for the boss, cancelled the order and ordered a Momo one. 2 days later its here. Just been sorting the horn out all this afternoon as it wanted to beep at me everytime i turned left. So, Sparco wheel in with the Momo boss (excuse the Momo horn as well :P) and dash tidied up a little. Also, some shots from Herts Show and Shine last night (was pretty much the only water-cooled Dub there)
