painted front badge

decided to have a crack at painting the front badge myself.

so stole a bit of smooth black hammerite spray off my dad

popped out the badge from the grill and sanded it down with a tough bit of wet and dry as the chromes a bit of a bitch to get a good key on.

sprayed once, wet and dried, sprayed again wet and dried then sprayed again.

quite pleased with the result and didnt pay a penny!!!!

thanks for all the comments guys,

in asnswer to the lowering question its on fk highsports right down on the back with adjuster cups in and about 30 mm left to go on the fonrt so not sure how low it is, its on standard steels though so looks a lot higher than it is on my tramonts.

and as for the plates, no not really, coppers round my area tend to be more bothered about all the chav racers in their dads nicked rovers and wat not...what a great place i live in ay? :rolleyes:
