vworks41
They're guna look spot on Just one thing though, I think your meant to keep all mating surfaces and bolt holes uncoated since powder lays thicker than paint. and even paint can pose small difficulties with leaking.I'm rebuilding some 2pc at the moment and was advised about that half way though
Lee_
Yea, that is one thing to keep your eye on. I've just stripped a set of RS's that were bolted together with paint on the mating faces. When they had been bolted up the paint had cracked and the sealant had come off. When the tyres were took off it was found floating around in the tyre.
DUB JIMBOB
My washer's/spacers were'nt powder coated, only got a thin layer of paint on them, so no cracking. The main seal of the sealent goes on once the wheels are bolted together so that all set's on bare metal not the painted center of the rim. DUB JIMBOB
Yeah i split them myself and then got candy wheels to polish the dishes, inserts powdercoated, bolts nickel plated and washers painted white and then i rebuilt them. When you ring them say jamie with the charged lupo gave you the number and you might get them a bit cheaper.Candy wheels01959571122They are based in tatfeild, 20minutes from central croydon.
