  1. Hi Louie, Glad to see your still looking after it!! Looks nice and clean, exhuast looks good to, hows it been running for you? I quite like the pic where its on steelies! )
  2. Does anybody know if it will fit a mk4 polo 1.4 16v? Cheers Drew
  3. I like the slash cut design, there was a lupo on here which ran system and it looked really good. That the ends i'll be going for when mines booked in soon. Each to there own at the end of the day though, isnt it
  4. lol, Scroll down buddy, all your question will be answered Must admit it is a bit misleading!
  5. Not being Funny, but are some people stupid? Why come onto a thread which catches your eye, and not read all the pages before posting a comment/question? If you read the first page there is a link, which shows the type of exhaust bastuck does and what the site sells. I've copied it for you!! http://www.vag-tuner.com/acatalog/copy_of_Full_System88.html That answer your question
  6. Try reading the thread dude! Its from the cat back, so it can run with your standard cat, wether you wanna get a sports cat its up to you. I've been waiting for ages for a second hand gti system to come up and there like gold dust, some im biting the bullet and getting mine booked in at powerflow end of next week, for my cat back. Got a new racleand mani sat her, so will get that fitted with my sports cat once its ordered

    rota clubstar

Ok, I've posted this before. I was a "jap boy" before i bought my lupo gti, and had rotas on both my jap cars (yaris t sport and glanza v) Never had any problems with either set, and they aint that heavy either (well not to two models i got) I had d2 coilovers (one or the harshest coilovers you can get get even on the softeset setting! ) and hit many pot holes and my Rota X's held up fine! End of the day, when i go back to jap, pending on what car it is i will be buying rotas again. Dont be put off by pictures of cracked rims, eveything on this planet has its problems, tv's, lupo pedal boxes, mobile phones messing up etc. But that stuff doesnt stop people buying them does it? Just my opinion, as long as the style would suit your car i say get them! But its up to you at the end of the day.
  8. Yeah i rang them up a few months back regarding an exhaust, think they quoted me £440 for a cat back system, then extra for sports cat. Wouldn't go anywhere near my raceland mani though, so that would leave me with a problem, cant exactly be driving without a mani! Rang powerflow and they quoted £250 for a cat back, £150 for the sports cat and they said they would fit the mani, but i would need to go in and get the car up on the ramp so they can see what the crack is, due to the cat being joined to the mani as one peice

    FK Silverline's!!!!

Cheers for the comments guys, I am right in thinking that, the front coilovers will have to come off, then i'll have to undo the top bolt take the spring off then wind the rings right to the top and lift them off that way? Will i have to depress the spring? How much do you reckon i'll be looking at for 4 new rings the fronts? Cheers
  10. As the title says. Is it just a case of contacting FK and asking them? Basically i was going to raise my slightly today but my coilovers had other plans. The driver side came loose nice and easy as i's put corrosion spray on them previously and taped the threads over so they'd stay nice and clean. Went to do the other side and the top adjuster ring wouldnt budch from the springs it couldnt wind it up or down, and now the little wholes going around the top ring are ****ed. I could just leave it as the height has never caused me trouble apart from the odd speedbump and driveshaft catching, but im going away this weekend and wanted to raise it a bit just incase. Anyone know where i can the rings from? Can you buy them seperatley?
  11. That swift looked great! I wouldnt of got rid personally, was it the need for more power? Or just wanted to come back to vdubs? Polo looks nice in white though
  12. Yeah i've heard that you'll lose back pressure with a de-cat and obviously dont want that!, i also cant be chewed with switching it for MOT. Is a sports cat a sports cat? if you get my drift? I saw a 200 cell sports cat on ebay last month for 99p but then see some for £150 does it matter aslong as the exhaust place can make up the pipes either end for it?
  13. Anybody running any of the above? within there system? I know Casper is but ayone else?
  14. Hi, ok ive got a raceland mani which is gonna be fitted to my car soon. I'm getting a custom cat back system made up, but i cant decide what to go for cat wise. I had a sports cat on my last car and im not sure if it made that much of a difference. The guy who i was speaking to said tbh a sport cat will give you 3-4% increase is this right? He said an option was to do a bolt on de-cat so it can be removed for MOT time, but how do GTI's run with de-cats? The other option is just have my mani, orignal cat then the cat back system. What have you people got out there and which do you think is the best option? from yuor experience? Cheers
