LiamD Posted December 27, 2007 Report Share Posted December 27, 2007 I'm a bit stuck for motivation on my car at the mo.I need to do some bits and bobs to keep it fresh and to keep my enthusiasm going but i'm trying to save up for Worthersee at the same time, so i'm looking for ideas on cheap, effective mods to do.At the moment i'm thinking -Rear seats out, with a false floor trimmed to match the seats.Dinky Momo Team steering wheel (ALWAYS wanted one)A flushed GTi boot (for the dinky spoiler, I like it).Possibly re-trimming the headlining with something funky, if I can work out how to get it out.I'd also like some pop-out rear windows, is this literally a matter of swapping the glass over, or is there a lot more to it than I think?Any more trick little cheap ideas? I can sort you a rather cheap vinyl place. clean the damn thing. I'll also teach you how to remove the roof sometime so you can retim it. I've done some roof retrims before and I can again. check out the bathroom halogens in my old golf. just gimme a bell sometime and I'll let you know when I'm free. I wanna do the back one though.Another Ronal T is on the way... (finally)I actually wanted a black or grey fur headlining.
