But parts as far that i know of:

Radiator

Power Steering pump (Just because pully wheel got damaged)

New whole front bumper assembly

New N/S Head light

Plastic section which holds radiator, lights...etc.

Possibly new N/S Shock absorber

2 New tyres

New inner plastic wheel arch (N/S)

Plus need to get the other sections checked out so there could be more.

Having said that, why do Arosa TDI's sell for sooo much on Autotrader? I mean there's some going for £4000+ with far more millage than mine.

Think £1500 is the limit to fix it, as it'll actually come back in a better state than it was already in, as bumper was ****ed beforehand and so was lots of the plastic trim bits.

Radiator -click here (£50)

Im fairly certain you should just be able to replace the pulley on the pump, try contacting GSF or click here (£50)

The bumper assembly (complete) is about £100 from the dealers.

The headlight could probably be fixed, or a new one is around £70 new from the right places.

If you need any shocks I've got a standard set in the garage you can have (done 20k).

2x tyres cheap as chips.

Inner arch will fit off any Arosa (check ebay loads breaking at the moment)

All in all I thinkits going to work out a lot cheaper than you think to repair smile.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Id say repair it, i doubt it will cost you £1500 for the repairs.

And surely its worth more than £3200, what makes you think its worth that? I dont think there is even one on autotrader at the moment at that price or lower is there? Worth at least £3500 i say.

Mend it, i saw this at the RR day last year before you had it, and then it was a stunning car in a stunning colour. Give it some Arosa love biggrin.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

depends on if your gonna keep it, if your just gonna fix it and sell it then dont bother, but i think your better off getting parts from salvage if you can cos itll save you a fortune and you might be lucky enough to get the same colour!

SO easy to fix, i did my mk1 and if id had all the parts to hand it would have took me less than a day. i had no luck finding salvage and it cost me 400+ for parts, but yours doesnt look half as bad as mine did

OR see this as a chance to modify, be cheaper to get an aftermaret bumper than oe parts.

is the radiator leaking? if not then you dont need to replace it, just place it on a flat surface and stand on it, dont worry, itll still work.

p/s pump youll be able to get from any motor factor on an exhange basis, prob about 40 quid (not 100% sure, this was just what it cost for my escort)

front bumper, will be about 140 for both bits of the bumper, unless your goin aftermarket then bite the bullet and go to seat

slam panel, was one on ebay for 20 quid, only around 40 new

shack absorber, look on ebay, theres a full suspension kit for 150 quid imported from germany

2 tyres, go to www.mytyres.co.uk

wheel liner, not sure how much but if you can find salvage then theyll prob give you it fee with the rest.

so overall your prob looking at around 200 if your lucky, bout 600 if your not

id say repair it if You can do a decent job yourself? if you get a garage to do it it will cost you nearly all the £1200-£1500 you mentioned and not worth it in my eyes

repairable it aint worth alot i saw a 1. 4 petrol lupo front ended (bonnet, wing bumper and plastic with good mechanicals) and that sold for £1100 on a 52 plate the only adavntage youve got is it being a TDI but to be fair you would need someone who specifially want s tdi but i know myself and others when looking for crash repairables are put off by any mechanical damage as alot of the time further parts are damaged than originally thought

also if for whatever reason you declare the crash on insurance it may be cat'd as a cat C so will need re MOT'ing and then will need a VIC check as well
