BigMon
Surely if you're chatting to someone in a nightclub, who isn't interested in you cos you've got the wrong car, then they're not worth wasting your time on?Next time say "I'm skint as well, but I've got a johnson like a baby's arm love", and see what the reaction is. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

csi_bha
it annoys me wen ppl ask me why i got them rims on my car, ppl juz dont kno that SEAT IS VW style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="wacko.gif" />well technically that isnt correct.Seat along with audi and skoda are part of the vw audi group - not volkswagon, who are also part of VAG style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />the new range of seats, according to one of the salesmen at lookers seat in stockport say they are based on audi's now, and not vw's -is what vag have told them to say. Pozza
Back to birds and Lupo thing, all the Birds in my office love my little GTi, they all think its cute style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />And yes i've also had some stupid comments about what a Lupo might be, I was talking to my ex the other day, told her i had a new car, showed her a pic and she said "oh yeah thats nice, its like a Sportier version of mine" and what does she drive?? A bloomin' Nissan MICRA style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> (In fairness to her she does know feck all about cars) Also had my car been refered to as a Mini Golf by some bloke at work style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> Edited January 31, 2006 by Pozza

ArosaMike
If any girl judged me by what car I drove I tell them were to go! LOL IMO anyone who's that shallow just isn't worth knowing style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> If a gal you've known for a while has an opinion about it then that's fine, but when you first meet someone?! LINCOLNSHIRESLUPOGTI
About a month ago I took a lass on a date and picked her up in the Lupo. The next date I picked her up in my £100 Mondeo (Lupo has been having a rest while I do stuff on it) and she complained about it all night saying what if her mates saw her in a crap car! She said if I pick her up again in it to not park it on her drive but to wait around the corner (I can only assume her family were too snobby to have it seen on their drive).Obviously at this point I was ready to tell her where to go but just for good measure I picked her up once more on a busy Saturday night in the £100 Mondeo which was covered in mud and then proceeded to drive the busy way around town before parking up. Then I never bothered to speak to her again after that night. In hindsight I have probably dated about 3 girls that after meeting them I realised they only wanted to be seen in the Lupo to go out on a nice summers night. Sad girls!Saying that I much prefer my mate picking me up in his 300bhp+ Escort Cossie than his £50 1.8 Sierra run about. Maybe I am a car slag. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> Edited February 1, 2006 by LINCOLNSHIRESLUPOGTI
stevewp
I confess to trying to make sure I drop in a mention of the bike moments after saying I drive a Passat diesel if I'm trying to impress someone (not talking about girls in particular). Which is funny, cos (a) I'm proud of the Passat - it's a fantastic motor and ( style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="B)" border="0" alt="cool.gif" /> I couldn't really care what people think generally. But I know if I was young, free and single and a girl moaned about the car I picked her up in, I'd do similar to you Lincolnshireslupogti, and pick her up just one more time, making sure I brought a spare helmet. There's nothing better than making a big mouth go quiet cos they're scared shitless of bikes!

Nicki
The tyre fitter who fitted my toyos for me checked I'd bought the correct size tyres before fitting - he couldn't understand why a little car needed such chunky tyres... style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> He also asked how much bigger it is than a polo... I put him right though, don't you worry. Turns out he owns a pretty cool modded BMW actually. Little bit pimp stylee, but not *too* bad.
