  1. Ah sorry my bad (for a sec i thought you wanted a price for delivery lol) £5000 ono, and if you do want it delivered i have no problem riding it to you if you dont mind the mileage going up I seem to remember there 'was' a few riders on here back in the day - maybe still...
  2. muchos grasias i just noticed bandedsteels.com can add to the inside and outside so should be able to make something to fit perfectly - im gonna try get some space savers
  3. just to check i got this right in my head - when they band them, its basically adding X inches to the outer side of the rim, so bringing the offset down by X inches? im trying to work out what steels to use to get some 8" wide uns made and fit under the arches, want to use space savers if possible
  4. pics on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2010-BUELL-XB12-SX-LIGHTNING-CITY-X-ORANGE-XB-XB12S-/120774745972?pt=UK_Motorcycles&hash=item1c1ebc5f74#ht_500wt_1156
  5. Here we go: Buell XB12S Lightning 2010 This is one of the last ones made, brought from Riders Bristol 25 March 2010 in translucent orange. Mileage is currently on 2,621. Had its 'running in' service after 5 weeks Took it for its first annual service Feb this year and it had some warranty work done as well including both wheel bearings and a new gearbox. Bike runs and rides perfectly with no problems Pirelli Angel ST tyres fitted front and rear a couple hundred miles ago in October, very little wear on them cost about £190 I've put a couple of bits on the bike which are removable if you don't like them Renthal Streetfighter bars with black bar pad and Renthal grips Carbon fibre frame protectors from Trogan Horse R&G Crash bobbins - front & rear wheels and engine ASV Unbreakable Brake and Clutch levers KTM footpegs Other than that its a standard bike, always been to Harley dealer for any work, cleaned regularly and kept in a warm garage. Currently has no tax but I may be able to put tax on it if buyer wishes to ride home. Bad bits: unfortunately I dropped it about a year ago and scratched one of the exhaust headers and a small one on swing arm. The right front indicator lens is also cracked - if you cant see it in the pictures I can send you more £5000ono Viewing can be arranged pretty much any time, evenings and weekends preferable, any questions email arunp2688@gmail.com or call 07554 002455 Thanks
  6. Im after 3 lupo (or similar) spacesaver wheels or a set of 14" steels cheaply and ideally in the Bristol area... if anyones got some old coilies lying around ill snap them up too - any condition considered and they dont have to be for a lupo, i'll try anything from mk3 golfs, ibiza's, polo's, etc. - where there's a will there's a way
  7. After smashing my last one up 5yrs ago i got offered a bargin lupo sport with no MOT so im looking to get it on the road asap Its an x plate on 81k so im lookin to get a cambelt kit, service bits and possibly a drivers window reg- anyone recomend a cheap/fast supplier? I was wondering as well; is there anyone still on here from 5/6 years ago??
  8. my advice would be- stick to main dealers- easier jobs, tech support, generally higher pay and more up to date working environment (but theres a lot more paperwork, technicalities, dos and donts etc) keep up to date with your evidence, im waaaaay behind and its just plain depressing dont rely on remit/carter and carter for ****. theyre crap. you really have to push them to get anything done and as for working till a ripe old age- im not gonna be on the tools after 35. i want to get qualified, then work up and out the workshop asap (plan is get as many qualifications as i can outta Ford then go after my teachers job). either that or become master tech. as with any job, the most qualified bloke gets paid the most and only has to do half the work of everybody else.
  9. as much as i dont get on with emily, i agree with adam. definetly an over reaction the comments cracked out every day in real life are so much worse and still taken as a joke, but just because this is on TV and somebody somewhere might not like it is no reason to ruin my chance of selling a video to the star
  10. my perdicument is that i want halo3 but i think the ps3 seems better?
  11. i went to school with emily found her annoying tbh, pretty stuck up didnt care what she got up to then, dont care now shes on TV. that doesnt mean im not franticly looking for an old phone vid which has gotta be worth money
  12. unlucky!! to be fair iv had my fair share of stop 'n searches, the blokes are usually quite polite about it "you're in a known drugs area... nothing aginst you..." and ALWAYS ask several times if i would like a copy of the search report. iv never asked for one- im not gonna gain anything from it, just throw it away after. last time (#8) one of the officers was a right t**t, one of them was nice enough, doing his job but not rude to us. the other one was chatting to us like we had already done something wrong from the start. while he was searching my car i popped the boot and we laughed at him looking thru all the pockets of 7 pairs of oil soaked overalls, 2 coats, and inside 6 pairs of smelly work boots. only did that to him because he was being a total cnut, trying to do me for having tools and a heat gun in my car. it was evident i was in the middle of doing work on it- the side strips were on the back seats and a tub of screws next to them. he was insinuating i was out robbing. cheeky fecker but thats still one officer out of 8 that have been thru my car, the others were all ok. usually end up chattin to them about the local beat officer/cars/other common intrest. surely they offered you a copy of the search record? or gave you a reason and asked you permission for the search?
  13. i thought you were using a road bike imo a full sus bike is the complete wrong tool- twice as much effort due to the rear spring taking out all your movement. even a mountain bike is gonna be hard work if you havent fully trained but still possible if you wanna do it, my advice would be get hold of a half decent road bike to reduce the strain, or take it easy and cruise along on a mtb but def not full sus lol
  14. when i used to cycle i did a few distance trips, but id reccomend chocolate bars and a camel sack filled with squash. and sometimes a greasy bacon burger is just what you need. other then that, stick with your mate(s) and its much shorter Good Luck!
