If I had "MUPPET" tattooed across my forehead, I'd say I'd regret it one day (probably about 3 seconds after having it done!), but since I don't and no-one knows except those I chose to share them with, I can't see one possible reason why I should regret them. Oh yeah Anyway, back on topic, I know very little about diabetes, but unless it was to cause any risk of problems whilst driving, I would say it shouldn't affect your premium. To my knowledge, someone who's self-injecting is controlling it and (as someone else already said) is aware of it to a high degree, and therefore would not, IMHO, be any greater risk thatn any other non-diabetic person. Perhaps there's more to it though than I understand. To my mind though, if they're going to start looking properly at medical conditions that affect your driving, perhaps they should start insisting on regular eye test results to weedle out all those people who can't actually see what they're doing properly!

I'm quite aware of the regs - I'm registered with the DVLA as a Vehicle Number Plate Supplier! Halfords mark is actually very subtle, and is easily missed, which is the way I think it should be. People shouldn't be forced into advertising your company just cos they've bought plates from you. But I guess not everyone see's it the way I do. I have to say though, I'm surprised they place the characters individually by hand there. Poor way of doing it - too much room for error, as IDGM found out. Printing is the best way really, as it allows different legally allowed effects. However, if doing stuff that's not strictly legal, vinyl is better. But it should be cut and applied in one strip, so individual characters don't go to pot.
