Trenthamfolk Posted April 29, 2023 Report Share Posted April 29, 2023 Hi all, I need a part for my Drivers' seat, can anyone help? Today the drivers seat stopped staying down. I identified the problem - there is a bar that engages with an upright with a plastic cap, and as you place the seat in the upright position it engages and this keeps the seat on the floor. At some point in the cars life, a previous owner has lost the cap and bent the upright over to compensate, but in the effort they have damaged the retaining whase and the upright will now not stay in place. I have to hold it in place to get the seat to stay down. I can get a new retaining washer no problem, but can I get the plastic cap!! I've been digging but cannot even find a part number 🙂 Pics below of the passenger seat and the good cap, and the drivers seat and the mess the previous owner had made.
