RichNor
polyethylene sheet, the heavy duty kind and waterproof doublesided tape? Thats what i used for my scirocco, did the trick. Also seen people using duct-tape, if you're into that Edited February 23, 2015 by RichNor
James_VW
Might look into using that actually Currently I have actually just used tape for a temporary job But I did contact the stealership and found prices...upper pieces around £10 eachlower pieces around £15 each
RichNor
You can also use a heat gun to shrink the plastic sheeting a little after mounting, for a nice, tight look. There is a thing even better that tape as well, dont know the name, but it is what is used on older VW's to hold membrane in place, black sticky stuff, comes in a roll, after fitting to the plastic, you can take the sheet of and on with out replacing the stuff. Skezza
Radiator insulation is very similar. Also butyl flashing tape. Plus, with the flashing tape you can do some extra dampening.
Reedo
could you not use sound deadening?
