hey guys im brad, and this was charlie #1 until his clutch broke and was too much for my to afford alongside my insurance renewal.. My old corsa before that: 1.2 petrol (photoshopped but how i would've got it) My old arosa before the corsa: 1.7 sdi My living room when i had this My DERV Corsa: 1.7 CDTI But enough of my old cars, here's Charlie #2 - my 1.4 lupo: Spec List (I will update this as it goes along) -75hp version - Pop out windows - FK highsports - Now sold as i needed it higher for where i live - Remapped - BMC CDA air filter - GTI injectors + inlets - Manky oil breather (will be replaced soon) - Snowflakes for wheels (i'm getting new ones at some point) - GIANT EXHAUST (see picture) The day i collected it: After a good clean: Then came some lovely photos with my camera.. And then came the steelies (that got rusted onto in a matter of 3 weeks which are now gone) Anyone who knows me, or has met me will know i'm amazing at parking. (Bluewater meet) Excuse the crappy quality of this but i wanted to try a bonnet bra on, and luckily jay had one to lend me Since then i've had some bad luck, as in wrecked the bottom of my car + exhaust completely as well as taking chunks from my front bumper, as of which i have sold my fk highsports which i couldn't adjust as they are a bit unlooked after. But here's some more pics of the car with my girlfriends car whilst im doing the suspension. I have more progress on my phone etc but i will upload in time. I will post plans if asked. So i previously owned a 1.4 lupo S in yellow, loved it to bits, but sold it, had a few mods, lowered, debumpstripped, map, sprayed badges the usual, Enough about the old car, i got a dent in it from hitting someones backbox on a dualcarriageway! ): After selling this i bought the Green 1.4 sport! This is when i got it! Straight away had problems, engine management light came on, caused by loads of **** in the air intake, basically an old man owned this car for 8 years! and never put his foot down in it meaning that it slowly got clogged up and full of sh**t so i had to take off the EGR valve to clean up and intake head, this sorted things out Yes the engine was very dirty but it soon looked like this! (rocker cover was in the boot) Got a few little mods straight away like some white bulbs, had yellow ones in the old car, wasn't easy to see! and some of them aeroflats! Also the exhaust was completely black soon had it shining! My old car had no bumpstrips, it looked so much better, so thought it'd be good idea to take mine off the new sport, although hit problems straight away, it'd clearly been previously sprayed! ): This is currently how the car is looking, and the coilovers are ofcourse on order!, Thats all for now! i'll post soon on any updates! work in progress!

Hi all, I new here but thought this is the best place to get a awnser. My 1.4 16v 2000 ish VW lupo, is a poorly girl. . The first of these problems was someone had taken out the window mechanism and replaced it with wood. Got it fixed, worked for a week. Now stuck. Second problem was the whole exhaust dropping off while driving. Embarrassing and inconvenient, luckly near my birthday, so i got a new one as a pressent. My mechanic told me getting that replaced would make sure it passes its mot next month. Well... I took her in again to get looked at, the check engine light had come on and was worried Yeaterday i was told there was no hope for the poor girl. All the sensors are worn and the best thing to do is "run it to the ground." This being my first car and only buying her for a grand, I though I might aswell. But deep down, I really like this car. The engine is spot on and everything is so sound. So, here is my proposal, and i need you opinion. Should I save up and get her fixed? I was quoted £800/£1000 Or Should I cut my losses, "run her to the ground" and get another car? I bloody love lupos and possibly would get another one. With the widow and a few dents in her, i cant see myself getting anything at all for her, but to buy another one (same size same year) it gunna cost me a fair bit. Possibly more that its gunna cost me to repair her. Its estimated she will run for another year or so, but i need an opinion now as I should get some saving started regardless. Or can anyone give me any advice on what to do? Im a lady lupo drive and honesty have no clue about cars (apart from I know what a cam belt is and I check my oil once a week ) Thanks you reading and i really want to hear your opinions. Hi Everyone! I'm new to this so i'm not too sure how everything works yet lol, I'm jake and i've just turned 18 and i got a bright green lupo for my birthday! It's gonna have to stay standard for now due to insurance But i do have many plans for the near future Anyway here are some pics of my car as it stands at the mo.

I'm new to the Lupo scene and need some advice, I'm looking at buying a 1.0E, can anyone tell me how low I can go on 'KW V1 Coilovers' with 15x7" Rota Flashbeck's. I don't want silly low as my town in full of pot holes and speed bumps. Any help appreciated!

Needs a front drivers side wheel bearing. Needs a front drivers side ball joint Heater motor doesn't work on positions 1 and 2 How much do you think this should cost to fix. Any help thanks.

Here we have my much loved GTi but due to buying a house and work being within walking distance I feel its time someone made the most of her (plus I’ve inherited and Evo 6 :-\ ) Lupo GTi - Anthracite 53 plate 6-speed Xenon Headlights FSH - just serviced last week at VW 55k miles - will increase but not much 12 months MOT - passed last week no advisories 6 months Tax 3 owners Inc. me Located in Sheffield Mods: AP Coilovers Cambridge rear lights White LED front sidelights Stubby Arial Good Bits: Just passed MOT and had a service last week 6 months tax starting from March Only done 55k miles with FSH Interior and paintwork in VGC Bathurst Alloys with original Dunlop tyres - 3mm tread Original headunit with CD player Handbrake very good - 2 clicks Comes with original suspension Comes with G60 brake carriers if you ever want to upgrade Bad Bits: AC doesn't blow cold - operates but prob needs re-gas Tailpipes could prob do with a polish Rear disc grooved slightly - not noisy but I'd suggest replacing at some point. I've been as honest as I can and just hope she goes to a good home - £5250ono no px £4950 ono SOLD

Hi I have a Lupo 1.4 16v sport and i'm looking to have a play and pretty it up a bit! A guy at work is looking to get rid of some Golf 4motion wheels for cheap, I've looked into PCD adapters - 4x100 to 5x100(15mm spacer) and tyres - 185/55 R14 to 195/40 R16 to keep my speedo in check. First off will 16s go on a non GTi? I've seen mixed threads on this, some say yes some no... And i'm unsure of how much to lower it by once the wheels are on, if they fit. I'm not looking to slam it, I just want to get the wheels tight into the arches so the car doesn't look like its on 16" stilts!! any help would be great. cheers.

Hi everyone, Not much of a poster on here...more of a lurker. So I thought I'd post a readers ride blog of the gfs loop and my Ibiza. The lupo was bought already modified, somethings I like, but not too keen on the wheels myself or the audi s-line badge on the back... but Amie (gf) wont let me take it off. I tell her it looks crap but she wont listen!!! For sale is my pretty much unused bonnet bra fits a lupo, fits GTI's too. i bought it, had it on for about a week, and took it off for winter, since then its been in my bedroom. so ive decided to shift it. it fits well after some slight modification to the straps, better than most others ive seen. no creases. there is one tiny mark on it, but you dont see it unless youre looking for it. £40 located at B98 9AE, can post too at your cost.

I test drove a Lupo sport today noticed it had disc brakes on the back I was wondering if the 1.4s has disc or drum brakes. Anyone know?

MY FIRST CAR...not even drove it yet. 1.4 16v, blue, t reg, alloys, electric windows, 6x9's, power steering, small run around, group 4 insurance, cheap tax, cheap to run, new exhaust system, few scratches, bit of dash wont go back into place, in my possesion for 3 month but need quick sale as had baby and need bigger car. gutted to be letting go but priorities. no pic yet but will tmoz. £800 o.n.o

So I've had my car since September... I'm still a learner but should be passed soon.... Anyways I've been on here for a few months now and think it's about time i put some pics of my car up... It's a wee Jazz Blue Lupo 1.4 Petrol, 02 plate... so not yet 10 years old yet. One owner since new which wa my aunt so its a hand me down and a better first car than i ever thought i'd have... I call it Loopy or the Slug (number plate anagram) and also Lewis Hamilton because my friends was called the Shoe... aka Sheumacker so yeah call me weird... but oh yeah pics!!! I've blanked out the plate... just coz i can... this is it the day i got it... Milage when i got it... well after the first drive My uncle had ordered new visors coz the mirrors in the ones i've got are smashed, unfortunately they don't fit lupo's... they're the wrong code... :/ They sumhow managed to lose the jack... so my dad bought me another one.... and i got a free tow with it... now i have 3!! i only need one right? With the mandatory 'L' plate stuck on (this is an edit) My Pride and Joy... (also an edit) In the Snow... Trying to tell me that he reallly wants to go out in the snow pleeeease.... My Dad... borrowed my car to go get a new tyre for his car...He muckied up my boot!!! and all the plastic trim! Nae happy! Dad with his head in the bonnet... just brought it bck after taking it to get the gears looked at (they're stiff again) then the EMC light and the catalyst lights came on... its now away to the Gearbox specialists for them to look at it... won't get it bck for like a week tho... :/ Anyways... here's some pics... I don't think i'll be doing much to it tbh... i have a tight budget and i doubt my parents would approve... :/
