The actual grab section is just too complicated to wrap because of the corners but maybe I just need to try again lol. Also you can't get into the hole where the black chrome handle is and mine is all scratched away wonder how much a whole new section is from VW?

Done the same! But found it too hard to do the rest of the handle it clips into. What have you done?

Hi, I have a set of 944 seats that I have recently fitted in my GTI but am not 100% happy with how they are fitted and I know it is possible to use lupo/arosa bases so the seats are sat in the existing runners. I have done a few searches over a period of time but not really found what I need. I would like to know what parts off the runners/bases I need and what I don't. Is it relativly easy to do at home? If not where would be a good place to go? Would any lupo arose seats work or are some not compatible? Really any advice would be helpful!! If anyone has done this pics would be really really helpful to me, doesn't really need to be porsche seats. Once again thanks! I might buy ppl who help me a pint at ultimate dubs Danny

I had this problem finding my 10mm ones. I had to get em from America!! Grrr so had to wait longer!! If you got 15 and thought there was too much poke you could always get em lathed (dunno how to spell) lol Down. ain't sure if this would be cost effective mind

But yea my mate had the same problem in his Ibiza with floating spacers he was doing 80 and the wheel fell off but his car is so low that it just sat In the arch and he was ok but since then both of us ordered hubcantric spacers lol. So much easier to put your wheels back on too!! D

My heat shield did the same thing, the bottom bolt had come out. Is all good now.

Going down selby hill I was going up. Looked decked and had loads of 'dubway' style stickers on it.

Those spacers don't seam so expensive to say you get bolts too so are saving money in that respect and they are hubcentric which arnt cheep as it is lol good luck

Seen these pics on facebooks. It is low!! Would u say that it goes as low as the fk's?? Can't really make out on my iPhone.

Just wondering if the fact my drivers window has stopped working could be the microswitch? I have checked all the wiring loom is fine and pretty sure the window switch is ok.. Where is it located? Also if I come to my car and press the open button twice on my fob to open the boot but do not open the passenger door to it's widest then the car locks itself? This normal? Could the two be related? Any help appreciated. Thanks Danny

when you get them on pal and they have settled will you post up how they compare to the fk's and if you can get them as low as the fk's as i to am going to change to AP's. pics would be a big help too

just read this whole thing and am more tempted to AP's now over FK's but im worried that they will not go as low. Does anyone have 1st hand experiance of this? will they both go down to the same level??

those ones on the link only able me to lower the car 30-60mm?? want it as low as i have now, fully wound down on the fk's, dont know what this is in mm though but would have thought it would be more than 60mm??

thanks for your help, which would you recommend, i have a few mates who have tried both and all seem to say there is not much variation between the two, i have on the fk's at the moment so wouldnt want to go for a less than equal set.. so you recon if i went for those AP's then i would be easily able to straighten out my camber (well someone in the know would be able to? ) as apposed to the fk's. once again thanks
