Hmmmm each to their own really, well ill sleep onit and we will progress from there....about the spoiler guys unfortunately i will keep my tailgate as it is, But yes cash wins
-
haha well thats cleared it up, for some reason i thought the gti tailgate was lighter and also had the spoiler inserts cut out. in that case it probably is a better option to get a normal one smoothed out and as i have a silver blue and a green one...i can do it myself if anyone has done this can i see pics too please

Ahh i see, arosa tailgates dont float my boot And silver how dare you! Sell my gti! This baby is with me for life haha i believe the gti tailgate is lighter however?

its one of them that if you DONT do it,its always on the mind haunting you...and now because you've been advised to do it you wont be able not to do it. -
very similar to d90s but slightly different...so the 3 most popular porsche rims to run are d90s teledials and the 928s heres mine as it is now

just wondering if any gti owners have either 1.installed a non gti tailgate 2.removed spoiler and smoothed holes etc reason being im not a fan of the spoiler, a bad design imo and when i see a standard lupos back end all smoothed out i see bliss just wondering however if the spoiler is needed for the overall balance of the car
-
to be perfectly honest i have seen mine tighten up over time with the sun, rain etc...the corners where a bit baggy but now fits a dream
-
thanks for comments guys just waiting for abit of spare cash to warrant getting some parts simple plans however soon are 1. overhaul of serviceable parts 2..full janspeed system 3. g60 brake upgrade 4. bmc cda 5. ashley manifold(kam if i can afford) 6. revo remap 7. cambridge rears and still alot not mentioned you know how it is
-
Yee thats exactly the case however when researching to do it if i can remember correctly the earlier models had doors with no holes for the wires.... I can remember checking mine and i could do it . Hope this helps
-
Was looking to do it to my 1.4 however you will need the looms from inside of the doors then establish whether or not your main loom has actually been made with the outlets. If it doesnt then yes you would have to do some custom wiring!

Movement with polybushes fitted
burningsextornado replied to Defcon5's topic in Car Care, Maintenance and Mechanical
sorry about resurrecting this topic guys however...i read alot about uprated bushes and have come to the conclusion it is quite an exspensive upgrade.however in the past few years of owning lupos i must say that i do got through the rubbers quite abit. would you recommend these as a viable upgrade? and if so is it a long drone out process where you literaly take all the parts off and just change them one by one with the new bushes or do they sell them attached. i.e new wishbone..etc thanks -
