  1. If you don't want to be silly low, all you need is a spring and damper lowering kit.

    Wheels

Can't help with the front, but 8j et25 is pretty damn close to the rear arch.
  3. It'll most likely be to do with springs rates and mounting points. The 3l will be lighter, so will want softer springs and I think the GTi has slightly different mounting points on the front.
  4. What offest, width and how low are you?
  5. 195/45 tyres will keep your speedo reading correctly.
  6. You'll be fine with 15mm ones. The hub part of the drum is 15mm deep.
  7. Still for sale. Few of the scuffs and scratches have been sorted.
  8. No. The spring and damping rates will be wrong any way.
  9. You won't need to cut your arches unless you've got silly wide wheels and are silly low. Going off rear bumper ans the side skirt height on the car in the pic, it doesn't look like it's actually that low.
  10. They look like the universal ones that are all over ebay. Some one has taken the time to fit them properly as well.
  11. You will need them rolled if you're going low.
  12. Decnt coilovers are yout best bet. Yes they cost more but, you'll be getting a much better ride and a longer life.
  13. The standard shocks will be fine with a 30mm drop. It seems that it's about 60mm down when standard shocks seem to give up.
  14. They sound pretty damn good to me. Go plenty loud enough without distorting. Not sure about selling them separate, I'd like to sell the car as it is to be honest.
  15. Ones that costs £100 couple years ago. Can't find the model number. They're coaxial ones.
