  1. Right guys. My lupo gti has just failed its mot and one of the problems was one of the front shock absorbers is cattle trucked. My mechanic said it will need a new coilover on it including the spring etc. Here is the problem though, whoever had the car before me has it on after market coilovers and my mechanic is unsure of what kind they are. I assume i will need to buy two new coil overs to fix this problem as the front two will have to match. Can anyone recommend a cheap set of coil overs?or am i wrong and will i just need the one? or can anyone think of a better solution to this problem? i have contacted the lad i bought the car off and he cant remember what kind of coilovers they are. Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks !!
  2. Had a fight with a speed bump the other night and when I got home this part was missing. Does anyone know where I can buy a replacement? For a gti obviously, cheers!
  3. Got banded steelies on atm but the guy I bought them from had them bright orange and painted them silver himself when he put it for sale. They're in pretty bad nick now and there starting to rust. Only putting the bk racing ones on as a stop gap as I already have them off one of my old cars!
  4. Hi. Just wondering if someone knows if these alloys will fit my lupo gti? They're 15". Any help would be greatly appreciated!
  5. Need some help with my tyres. Recently put new alloys on my gti. They're 16 inch 4x100 et35 7.5j with 190/45 ( I think) tyres. Anyway the car came on lowering springs and there's slight rub from both back tyres when going round corners or over bumps. I think the car will only need to go up an inch at the most. Maybe even half an inch. Can anyone recommend advice on what to do? If new springs are the answer then what make/ size etc should I be looking for? Cheers.
