  1. Jabbasport are the sole suppliers I believe - its actually a Fabia VRS kit - but fits the Lupo AFAIK
  2. Fantastic way to get more hits tho eh? Gotta try that one time!
  3. Typical forum poo spreading
  4. Alright mate, I have been looking for a top example lupo for nearly 6months now, the special ones are few and far between. Im sorry to say which ever delusioned person said 5.5k is just creating false hopes for you, despite your low milage, not many would want to spend that sort of money on a standard trim car. These are enthusiasts cars which is why the fetch so much money, which is also the downside as enthusiasts also want the best examples. A standard trim 5speed with your milage i would say you should accept any offers over 4,250 - particularly with those alloys on there, they are not horrific, but you are certainly narrowing your audience. You will get little interest if you advertise it at more than 5k. Good luck with the sale.
  5. The price likely reflects the milage and therefore the level of wear and tear, which ultimately boils down to how long left it has mechanically before it requires maintenance, im guessing its as good as new, so will need maintaining like a new car, i.e. not a lot. As its from a main stealer you will also get warranty of some sort.
  6. Suzuki Swift 1.3 GTi 16v Twin Cam 100bhp, redlined at 9k with bucket seats as std. Proper little jap hot hatch - cost me £500, was worth every penny.
  7. You would not be able to get a reliable 8500rpm out of the std head, as John says the hydraulic tappets are the limiting factor, you would get floating valves at 8k+. So would need to go solid tappets, stronger valve springs, uprated valves before considering that high rpm. Also, if you actually managed to get the head to flow enough to actually be producing power in the 8k region, you would loose so much torque lower in the rev range would make it nigh on undrivable around town. Its all or nothing for a high rpm n/a power.
  8. Nearly there fella, looking fab. Love it when projects get to this stage. Savage 3.5 sitting in the background, got an X 4.6 myself - gotta love the nitro What are you doing for fuelling, have prob read it somewhere and can't remember.
  9. 1kg off the flywheel i reckon you will regret it. Anyway, coming together nicely. Keep up the good work.
  10. buy purchasing a cd with obd2 communication software on it, it was mostly in german, but worked to read codes
  11. To relieve any pressure build up in the bottom end. Its a cheap and nasty hack by manufacturers to plumb the bottom end into the intake ducting, so the vaccum of the engine itself (via the inlet manifold) sucks any pressure out of the bottom end. This inevitably means the pipe and intake track gets caked in oil as the oil and residue gets pulled into the pipe and intake. This is why some remove the plumbing into the intake track and use a custom catch can of some kind.
  12. you can buy a cd off ebay with versions of the software which work, got it, done it - read about 50 errors off my obd2 mk3 vr6 highline
  13. Nice update. Lol looks like you are using the exact engine stand I have. Clarke? God those calipers looked rough. Come up nicely tho. That block colour is going to be the bane of your life mate. Keep up the good work.
