  1. All the new GTI owners seem to be in scotland style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> .
  2. Lol. Looks like audi 100/a6 rear lights. Too square to be 80s I think (don't know what to think after seeing that!!). Check the seats out! I think they are an old recaro model. The buttons on the seat bolster are style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="B)" border="0" alt="cool.gif" /> style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shades:" border="0" alt="shades.gif" /> style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="B)" border="0" alt="cool.gif" />
  3. Craig style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> . Not only was the joke unsafe for human consumption, but you took 2 hours 30 mins to think of it after your last post lamenting your lack of comedy chance style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> . Last thing I saw that shouldn't be was a lad in a go kart. On her majesty's highway! With no road tax style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":o" border="0" alt="ohmy.gif" /> style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> !
  4. Cool style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="B)" border="0" alt="cool.gif" /> Perhaps a short front plate would look good?
  5. 83%. In all honesty I didnt think Id do that well ( style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> )
  6. I didn't have the balls to proclaim my happiness at the snow outside. YAY SNOW!!! I just washed the car style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> .
  7. The ride quality is not soft, it IS firm, but not brutal. I think coilovers could lead to better handling still, perhaps if it was lower (another 15 mm or so maybe I think if I were to do that, the car may not be as much fun to drive. Undecided as to what to do..... I would like it to be MUCH lower for looks sake style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> . But that is not what I want the car for just now.
  8. Wayyy not for emo kids. (it's for girls style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> ) Congrats on the win dude. Cover looks wierd like that style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="wacko.gif" /> .
  9. No. You can't have it. It's mine style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":sweating:" border="0" alt="sweating.gif" />. Thanks Tigz. Hmm. The colour on my mums last polo (same colour) was called blue-anthracite? My paint code is listed as blue–anthracite LC7V on the paint code thread. You are probably right though. We all know how much you like the colour style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> ! Perhaps they changed the name later? Now, where did I lose that brochure...... When I say different ARB I mean in relation to my 1.4s. Miles better. If you've got a 1.0/1.4, the difference is awesome. The B12 kit is great, well controlled and progressive enough not to give you a fright with quick rebound. Not too extreme, you will still be able to have fun and not be pulling 11g round a bend style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> . I would like it to be lower, but for now I am enjoying the stock looks, ride quality, and clearance that this kit gives the car. Hope this helps.
  10. That dudes face puts me off that cola style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" /> .
  11. [nods in agreement] Imagine, if you will, some airhead putting her (Yes. How sexist.) lipstick on. One hand on the lipstick, the other on a pocket mirror. Hits speed bump with the wheel slightly turned one way. Bumps steering round. Lupo damaged style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />. Sorry to hear about this, hope the details help you catch this scrotebag.
  12. Thank you, I am enjoying it. I look forward to driving it at every opertunity! My amp is screwed into a carpeted piece of board which itself is jammed between the bulkhead thats behind the wheel well and the seat back (I think style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" />. I'll check tomorrow if it isn't ). Alternator whine sorted now style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> , one of the RCAs was picking up interference right behind the dash I think.
  13. Very nice. You got the best colour too style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="ph34r.gif" /> .
  14. That should be fine (need to check bank balance first). Mine says 434 MHz, so it's the right one for me.
  15. Yup. They were mental. The backs were OK, but you would need to pull the arches, and get 7s for the front and roll those arches. You also have caliper clearance issues, and you will need spigot rings/hubcentic spacers style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="wacko.gif" />. Would have looked RUDE though. Didn't do it because I would have spent hundreds in the bodyshop to destroy my cars resale value (I was planning on selling it for something quicker in a year or so anyway). So I never bothered and saved to buy the GTI. Do it if you are keeping your car for a bit/or you realy want to make an impact. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shades:" border="0" alt="shades.gif" /> style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shades:" border="0" alt="shades.gif" /> Hope this helps.
  16. Nice style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
  17. Didn't know about this! How cool style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> . Anyone got a price for one of these??
  18. Lol. I know what this is. Not my favourite but thats a cool item to have!
  19. Thats crap style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />
  20. BADASS! I'd say advertise for 4.6k, expect to get 4k. Sell it standard and get more! The coils, joey mod headlights and exhaust will scare many people off and are worth something. I'd also say you should keep it style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> .
  21. 'kin hell mate! I got mine just after I turned 20. Mine is 1200 including interest on the monthy payments and claim history that I'm none too proud of! Try elephant/admiral/bell (they are all the same company). border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" /> PREACH!
  22. Yup. I don't mind abreviations and even some text speak, but going out your way to sound like an amoeba really puts me off. In fact I feel like I am being shouted at sometimes, people just post/email fractions of sentences, write ur instead of your and worst of all, forget to say thank you/please in emails requesting stuff. Then I meet these folk and they have a decent grasp of english - it's all just lazyness, and it reflects upon them. I'm at uni (see I'm not that fussy really style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" /> ) and almost all of the student-student correspondence is borderline moronic. Thing is, once you start writing this way, you slip into it, so I expect these people will be emailing important types and they will be forming the wrong impression straight away style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> . Oh well, Not the worst thing ever, but some folk are making themselves look a bit silly.
