  1. Yeah, it was me. Off to a job interview! Thanks for the comment - I do try to keep her clean.......
  2. from Audiworld Subtle, lots of design cues from previous fast audis, and that power/torque figure. LUSH.
  3. Saw this when my car was in verve from the courtesy coach into town. Very low, very nice. Lupo related number plate. Anyone from here? Matt
  4. Lol ffs. It's funny that your parents are watching you get smashed. My mum says I look a year older after my post exams weekender. Take care climbing into bed, I'm off (3AM style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":o" border="0" alt="ohmy.gif" /> )
  5. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> Bad times mate, Shows how bad some places are, complete disregard for employees and as such, they only keep the bad ones. Needless to say after your PM, I don't think I'll be working for those folks. Go see your friends, just have a laugh, ride your bike, focus yourself on whats good around you. Keep busy - you wanted to get fit, focus on that. Night school sounds like a good idea, and can lead on to better things with a great non-office-politik-bolloks job, but before you do this, be sure you want to leave uni - We all get fed up of the academics there. Remember thats what they do for a living, so no surprise that what and how most teach is very boreing to you and me, different out in the big world and all that.... Your ideas sound good to me, just make sure a huge change of direction is necessary. Matt.
  6. I would go, but I have uber exams just now
  7. Lovely! Nice that it already has some quality coilovers. Matt.
  8. ps, light wheels and tyres make all the difference to a bike you need to pedal over a distance - 2.1s will feel rapid compared to what you are used to. (sorry about the double post, silly lack of looking at what i am pressing)
  9. Craig, Get a bike that won't bust your knees (yes, a gay one with the saddle up) and spin round glentress or something every sunday. Fun and good for you. Circuits are very good as others have suggested. Skipping (no laughing at the back) is awesome also, but can be hard to get in the way of doing. Swimming is good as it keeps all the weight off your joints, but still exercises many muscle groups. But you may also need to pick out some suitable trunks style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> Good luck, I intend to start training again (dunno what for, just feel unfit just now) after these wretched exams have passed. Matt.
  10. Yes. That might be a good idea style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> . Looking really good now.
  11. That frontflip over that set is suiside style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":o" border="0" alt="ohmy.gif" /> I'd miss the board on landing much less aiming for it upside down style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="wacko.gif" />
  12. Normally, I'd say yes, but your gloss black mirrors look better with the tints.
  13. Sorry to hear this and just after you got the car lowered as well style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> Where was it? I had to get mine checked out after hitting one in the west end. Was just tracking needing done though. Bad luck mate.
  14. OH! OH! where did you get your german flag badge? - I have wanted one for ages style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" /> ! Very clean, Matt.
  15. Nice Colin - well chosen mods as ever. I see you still haven't gone for streched tyres - quite right, this car has a purpose style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="B)" border="0" alt="cool.gif" />. The Zenders are really nice - are you tired of cleaning the bbs? I'll swap you a bottle of Megs tyre gel and a foam applicator for them style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />. Another question - how low do you think your car is? which coilovers are you running? Cheers, Matt.
  16. Went away on holiday and came back to the great weather, so as I had film left, I took some pics. border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> Thanks for looking!
  17. Nice car. You take a good photo too. Hope the ones I just took come out as well. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="B)" border="0" alt="cool.gif" />
  18. Thats what I'm doing just now. Got to get that grade point average up before the end of the year style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" /> . Oh. Mechanical engineering at Glasogw uni.
  19. Searched around his club website. found this Exhuast entry . The link to the manufacturer is dead though style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> . Anyone else found anything on the exhaust?
  20. Indeed, cheers for that. (dunno about having the balls to say all that in front of a judge though style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" />)
  21. Love this M3. Many people on various forums are moaning about the bonnet bulge, but it will suit the car with that V8 noise (did you hear it on the press confrence video AndyW?? - sounds great style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="B)" border="0" alt="cool.gif" /> ) The E46 had a bit of a power bulge too. I'd like the roof to make production. I hope the mirrors don't style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> . Also like: the alcantara steering wheel and it's 'm' stitching; carbon shark fin; what looks like active seats like the M5; csl wheels. I can imagine imola red/black leather or white/red leather looking good. Or le mans blue/grey leather. Or black/beige leather (with black kidney grilles style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" /> ). I'm off to start saving..............
  22. border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> Nice engrish. One of the worst mistranslations I have ever seen.
  23. Just read the result. Very lucky. Glad you still have your lisence, you didn't deserve to lose it by the sounds of things.
  24. I think the punishment handed out for this kind of thing (speed on mway in low traffic) is too high: potential loss of job; abilaty to function (in this country style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> ); prison if the courts see fit etc. Conversley it would stop me doing it if my car was capable - so the law works. I agree when people say you should expect to get a ban for 100 mph+, but I really think the punishment is way out of proportion. Up to a month at most. For speeds over 110 ish. You would feel it and think thrice before you do it again but not screw your family. Get caught at over 150mph and I think the present penalties are appropriate. Speed is a crap way to define dangerous anyway On a clear day: 105mph is a cruise for an Audi S4 105mph is safe in say a Ibiza Cupra 105mph is not safe in a Lupo 1.4s (Sorry guys, they take ages to slow down. I have tried. On a track.) But 130mph is still safe in the same conditions for the S4 (in my opinion) Again, 100mph in the wet in the S4 with 6 other cars kicking up spray is not safe style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" /> But then even if the limit was 130 ish, you would have the usual heros driving up peoples bumpers at or over the limit at 8:30am in busy traffic in the pouring rain. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":angry2:" border="0" alt="angry.gif" /> Safe driving is not the first thing on 95% of the populations minds when they get in their car, so we have speed limits. Limits should be tiered like in France, perhaps 80mph in the wet, 110mph the rest of the time. Police should be able to do more folk for tailgating. A right hand indicator is enough of a reminder that you want past (as in europe). /rant. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" /> (ps. Do over the speed limit in a 30/40 of even a 50 in urban ares and you should get a kicking. Again IMHO style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":coffee:" border="0" alt="coffee.gif" /> )
