I had it before cj...then a old guy in the next village had it before me. It was in a sorry state and I couldn't fund him anymore to fix him, the chassis wasn't too pretty - from when it had the dent damage. Hope you look after him, I was gutted when the time came to sell....I did find all the old service history for it ages ago which I thought I'd lost - but im not sure if I still have it - can have a look at let you know....I was the 10th owner and it really hasnt been cared for as much as it should have before me, which is when the problems started.

Yeah. Part ex'd it trade at £2000, but the car I brought was a part ex. So it probably owes him about a grand... What a knooooob!

He's an Eedgit, and apparently...which I thought was odd. He sells cars from his house, but his business of high "10/11/12/13 plate bmws" is in reading. Something dodgy about the sale there...i said to him it doesnt drive well and needs looking at, he is selling on an unsafe car really.... xx

this is the url: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2001-vw-Lupo-GTI-a-c-/350730040065?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item51a923b301 If you make an offer on it....be aware that the seller does not say - that two bbs alloys are bent/buckled (not fixable) the coilovers have been ruined from two pot holes on the way to part exchanging it - it barely drives, steering wheel shakes loads (damn m25), there is rust on the rear quarter, the centre exhaust needs replacing, the stitching on the gear gaitor and rear seats (at the bottom) were orange...and ive gone over them with a red permanent marker (as i didnt have enough time to put it back to red) there is a scratch the length of the car. the debadged back hasnt been painted over that well. there is no undertray, the passenger window clips need replacing, smell of petrol in the car.... and i bodged a few things to get it back to standard. You may think this is weird....but its a trader, and he didnt give me much for it...and the car i part exchanged it for has been nothing but trouble, so thought i would warn you, it would be lucky to be worth £2000 now... So its up to you, but it needs new wheels, suspension set up, centre exhaust, undertray, gear gaitor and knob, rear bench, bonnet and n/s spray, window clips, find the petrol smell etc. ooh and i blew a speaker.

Yeah it was. The paint was real shiny when I had it! I know, I wanted it to go to a good home.... The other heated window switch is for the rear boot solenoid to pop it open. And no idea with the other bit. If I was car less, id buy it back lol.

P.s. Its audi pearl orange not st.

The paints faded loads since I had it! ill happily take back the screen and numberplate if your gna break it.....would be sad to see it gone! I'd buy it back if I hadnt brought another gti. Message me please.

Yeah, you are right, the thread wasnt 100% sense. I just listed what I thought, thought spring adjusters came on all suspension- shows im rubbish with mechanical knowledge. But, you gave me all the info I needed, thank you!!

Hi recently had to buy new suspension and wheels due to potholes ruining my currents. I brought a B12 suspension kit off the bay to go on (i will be having someone fit it, just adding up costs of what I need) It has 'donut shaped' black plastic bits at the top, which im not sure what they are. But from people who have put a B12 kit on a gti, what do I need? I currently only have the kit - 4 shocks, springs inc adjusters and am currently referbing/spraying some bathursts. Any help will be great thanks.

Ive realised ive not updated this in too long, after two pot holes...ive had to buy a new suspension kit and wheels. Slowly changing the red gti stitching to orange and got so many more ideas for it!! So as soon as the b12s are on and the custom stenciled black and orange barthursts are on. I will do a big pretty post x
