16's will fit a few people on here run them. as long as you fit the right tyres you should be ok. you may not be able to lower the suspension too much though it would need something done as it would look almost like a 4x4 on standard setup!

but can this be done? i heard the units are sealed so the only way to colour code is either to paint the outside of the unit or use a brick:blush: and then have them colour coded that way but 'open' (the clear cover removed).

forgive me for saying but is the g60 engine not really quite heavy - obviously not 1.9tdi heavy but still weighty? im sure i heard of a lupo that had the conversion somewhere and it was a pig to drive due to being nose heavy? maybe im speaking rubbish style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> . i agree that 1.8t is the way to go for a transplant - easy extra power for cheap after the install especially if you keep the donor ecu via revo, jabba, amd, apr etc etc.

i would go for a 256mm setup (mk2 golf gti?) with ds2500 pads if i was doing the same.

so with these led bulbs can they effectively be used as replacements for standard bulbs? i.e. would they do as good a job on the full beam etc or are they only udeful in sidelights, indicators etc?

forgive me for being stupid but when i went to fill up my dads octavia vrs last week at the local tesco extra (aberdeen, bridge of don) i couldnt see even 97ron s. unleaded stuff? i presumed all tescos did super unleaded but it appears not... had to fill with normal stuff. is there anywhere you can get a list of who sells what in your area? do all supermarkets just sell 95ron?

is this just for a gti or could it be a straight swap from any lupo i.e. a 1 litre or tdi?

theres got to be worse than that! it dosent look that bad - the graphics, eyebrows and possibly the rear clusters need to go though i do like the idea of colour coded rear clusters of sum sort... would be even more acceptable if it was a vr6 ot 1.8t. i think the lime green is making it look more 'max power' than it is. im not saying i would drive it as it is lol

i had previously thought of this and wondered has anyone put the ibiza cupra intake on a lupo/arosa? would it even fit lol? tigz - i cant quote figures but i know the intake dosent give you an extra 20bhp on a mapped fabia/ibiza.
